Robert Fowler Palm & Ivy Kitchen is one of those places that instantly makes you want to come back. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between warm and modern—soft lighting, lush greenery, and a relaxed vibe that makes it great for everything from brunch meet-ups to a casual dinner date. The food is the real standout. Every dish feels thoughtfully prepared, beautifully plated, and full of fresh flavour. The portions are generous without being overwhelming, and you can tell they’re serious about quality ingredients. Service was friendly and attentive without ever feeling rushed. Staff checked in just enough to make sure everything was perfect.

Jennifer Hemingway Have you ever walked into an Italian familys kitchen for dinner on a Sunday, early evening, in Jersey? I have, and it feels like this. Do you remember when the food critic, Ego, found his childhood in a bowl of ratatouille? I do, and it tasted like this. The atmosphere was idealistic, the ambience was like an Italian familys dining room, Castinas service was superior, and the food was better than Nonnas, sorry not sorry. To the incredibly hospitable service, to never feeling left abandoned or waiting for service, to the best complimentary bread and garlic oil dip, to the phenomenal meatball martini. Rocco is your favorite Italian Papa, who invited you over for dinner, enjoyed your visit and sent you to bed with a cannoli and a hug. I will never make an Italian dish in my home kitchen again, Ill go to Bella Vita and ask for Rocco. I wish I took more photos of the food. Bravo, Brava!

Steven Birnbaum My wife and I had dinner on Christmas Day. The food was great. We shared the ceviche, and had the snapper and the scallops and lobster over pasta. The staff was very helpful with our questions about the menu. The pasta dish was so good, that I walked over to the kitchen to thank the chef. He came out and we spoke for several minutes. There was also live music, which made the evening more enjoyable!

Ray P Located at The Ben in downtown West Palm Beach, this restaurant should not be missed. The service was great all around. From the valets, to the doorman, to the hostesses, and our server, everyone was friendly and gracious. We ordered the Truffle Frites Au Fromage as an appetizer, and were blown away. The fries come with a Gruyère fondue that you can pour over tlhem. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft and pillowy on the inside. The nuttiness and sweetness of the cheese will make you reevaluate all of your prior cheese fries decisions. I had the Pastrami Spiced Pork Chop. It had good flavor and was well cooked. But the Red Cabbage Mostarda that it came with melted in my mouth and I couldn’t get enough For dessert, we ordered the Carrot Cake. It had bits of pineapple and some candied nuts sprinkled on top and was served with some spiced whipped cream. This slice of cake may change your life. In my opinion, it’s one of the top desserts Palm Beach County. It is delightful I know that this is a long review. But hear me out. We went on a Saturday night in December There’s ice skating across the street, there’s Sandi the Christmas tree within walking distance, and a lot going on downtown right now. More people should’ve been at this restaurant. For a place this good, there should not have been as many empty tables. Was it dead? No. Were there patrons at the bar? Yes. But more people need to come and try Proper Grit. The service is great. The vibes are immaculate. And most importantly, the food is delicious

Dan London Found this hidden gem and dined here last night and Chef Su, Kelsey, Kat were all incredible! We had the 12 course tasting menu along with the wine and cocktail pairing. Everything from start to finish from the service to wine/cocktails to food were top notch Michelin level quality!

Nabil Nasser Had doubts about showing up without a reservation on Thanksgiving Day, but it was worth the risk. Everything about this place was fantastic. We sat at the bar and had a great time. The agnolotti was amazing, the wagyu carpaccio was even better, and the steak and Parker rolls were on another level. The atmosphere and the service made it even better. Louis was incredible and it has been a long time since I have seen service like that. A phenomenal experience.
