3 /5 Thai Le: We stayed here during the Christmas season and the atmosphere was wonderful. The lobby was beautifully decorated, and the front desk staff was amazing—friendly, professional, and exactly what you would expect from an upscale hotel.
However, once we got past the lobby, the experience didnt quite match the price point. The room was spacious and bright with good lighting, which we appreciated, but the comfort level was underwhelming. The beds were just "okay"—definitely not the quality expected for the rate—and the pillows were very standard. Disappointingly, the comforter didnt have that crisp, fresh scent you look for in a luxury stay.
The bathroom had a similar issue: while generally clean, it lacked attention to detail. The sealant around the tub and walls was old and peeling, which makes the space feel tired. I really wish they paid closer attention to maintenance details like that.
Small touches were also missing. The coffee wasnt Nespresso (drinkable, but not great), and there was no turn-down sweet or chocolate, which is common at this tier. On a positive note, I did appreciate the two complimentary glass bottles of water and the refill station that offered sparkling water.
Lastly, the additional fees (resort fee, tourism fee, etc.) feel like a "nickel and dime" situation. We know it’s likely corporate policy and not the fault of the local staff, but it’s annoying nonetheless.
Overall, you can tell they are trying, and it’s an honest, good attempt at hospitality. But for us, between the average bedding, the bathroom maintenance, and the lack of finer details, they just missed the mark a bit.
