The Tipsy Boar - (Near Hollywood, FL)

Nelida Safrit We met up with friend for dinner at this location. The host had us wait for the rest of the party to be seated. A different host came and got us and sat us before my friends arrived. The place was not full. Our server Tara was great. We took our time to order since we were catching up. She was very patient with us. We finally ordered and she was very helpful and recommended a few dishes. My margarita was delicious. My steak and shrimp were delicious too. I can’t complain. We stayed talking for a while after paying our bill and nobody bothered us. I definitely recommend this restaurant!

Greisy Aguilar The food was amazing! We had the chicken and lamb bowl, some wings, fries, and pita bread. The owner was very friendly and he gave us some Baklava to try; it was delicious!!! This was our first time trying Arabic food, and we will definitely come back when visiting Gainesville, FL.

Patrick Barrett I have been to Dominics numerous times and I still to this day have not been able to find Italian food and pizza that is better than NY untill I found them. I have lived in NY my entire life and the pizza is supposed to be the best in the world but I beg to differ after I tried dominics. This is a genuine stand up, honest review out of appreciation for the great food. I am not paid for this review, Im not family of them and I am not an employee there but this please needs to be heard!!! I had read through some recent negative reviews before posting this and I do not agree with them at all. Idk if those posts were with a different staff there or the people who left negative reviews are just those type of people unhappy with everything but they are wrong. The service was so fast, the staff always gives out instant refills and stops by multiple times to ask if we need anything. And they are not overly fake and annoying, they treat you like a close freind. Also I read a review that the sauce is weak and no it is not! The sauce is very rich and flavorfull without the acidic taste. You can see the oil separation in the sauce and cheeses so I know its fresh and high quality. Some of my favorite foods there is there clams organato, the vodka parm and they make an incredible Sicilian pie. I have been there over a dozen times these past few months and I have never had a bad meal. Ive been to many high end restaurants in South Florida upwards of 300 dollar meals for two and this place basically has the same, if not better food for a fraction of the price. The staff is extremely polite and the prices are too good to be true. The dinners are absolutely huge. I go there with my girlfriend and we usually share one chicken parm dinner. Its enough for us to both be stuffed and then have some left over to pick on at home. They are the best.

Florida Veteran “Bar Louie: ‘We’re too much fun!’ — Bartender looks like she’s serving drinks on day 7 of a hostage crisis… it feels like I just walked into a DMV with liquor! I have been to a lot of bars, but I’ve never seen a place work this hard to kill the vibe. Bar Louie sells itself as “too much fun to be a restaurant,” yet the bartender looked like she was being forced to serve drinks at gunpoint. Zero energy, zero effort, zero personality, but full entitlement when it comes to tips. If your entire industry is people, interaction, and atmosphere, maybe don’t put someone behind the bar who clearly hates all three. I shouldn’t feel like I’m inconveniencing someone by ordering a drink. That’s literally your only job in this building. This generation keeps asking why tipping culture is dying, this is why. You don’t get rewarded for existing behind a bar. You get rewarded for bringing life to it.

Anita Stephens Stopped by for Lunch today. It’s Saturday and it’s busy. We sat outside because this place is so laid back surrounded by lots of beautiful plants and greenery. Our waitress Meagan was so sweet and friendly. Our food came out hot and on time. My Husband had the burger and I had the Crab cakes. The crab cake were so good. Tasted fresh. My Husband said his burger was very juicy. The prices were very reasonable. Parking may be a little challenging, but usually you can find something on the street. The have inside and outside tables. Everyone was outside because it was such a beautiful sunny fall day on Amelia Island. I highly recommend going here to eat. We decided we would go back for dinner next week.

Cyd R Good and fresh seafood, popular with the locals and we enjoyed it too. Not fancy at all, just good food that you order and pay for at the counter when you enter. Friendly staff and great service. We ordered the butterfly shrimp and fried catfish. Our sides were tossed salad, baked beans, French fries and squash, all of which were good. They serve beer and wine. The key lime pie was very good. We were full after just a few bites of our meal so we took the rest home. I guess if it aint broke dont fix it but I thought some background music would be nice.
