The Wheelhouse - (Near St. Petersburg, FL)

4 /5 Kelly P: We came to The Wheelhouse because of Google reviews saying their chicken wings were the best near Clearwater/ St Petes. After trying the Dry Rub Lemon Pepper, Whiskey Dry Rub, Mango Habanero and the BBQ, I am pretty confident that they could be the best in the area. They were crispy and juicy and really flavorful. The Big Als fries were delicious too. Crispy crinkle cut fries with melted cheddar cheese and bacon, served with ranch on the side. The bar/ restaurant is pretty small with maybe 10 tables and 12-15 bar spots. Its very unassuming, in a strip mall with other small businesses. Dont let that deter you. Great service, great food and interesting conversations with regulars... you cant go wrong.

5 /5 Unique Explores: Checked out The Wheelhouse today for the first time. Pretty cool laid back atmosphere with great music and themed decor. Was greeted and served immediately by friendly staff. Service was efficient and helpful in menu choices. Food and drinks were brought out promptly. Food had great flavor along with nice presentation. They have a great variety of menu items and also an extensive beer selection on tap available. Definitely recommend!!

5 /5 Christine Hale: Like tacos? You’ll love Taco Tuesday! Don’t forget their specialty hot sauce but take heed - a couple drops will do ya. The vegetarian tacos have a great sautéed and seasoned veggie base and plentiful avocado. I’m not even a mushroom lover but don’t mind them with their seasoning.

5 /5 kimberly bechtler: Taco Tuesday with my coworkers and we all had their 3 taco deal and did not disappoint! Three beautiful gourmet style tacos were so scrumptious!! 3 tacos for $7.50 not bad at all!

5 /5 Lisa G: Hidden gem the the beach. Inside feels like a skater bar with skateboards and stickers as decorations. Decent size beer list and standard bar food options on menu. I ordered a big mother clucker and it was the best chicken sandwich I have had in st pete. Excited to go back and try some of their other items.
