Umi Japanese Restaurant - (Near Winter Park, FL)

Nicholas Pell We had an exceptional dinner at The Library last night. The atmosphere, service, and overall experience were outstanding. My filet was a perfect 10/10, and every appetizer, drink, and dessert at the table was excellent. One entrée had an issue, which was mentioned casually to our server, and the way management handled it was truly impressive. They went above and beyond with their hospitality and generosity, turning a minor hiccup into an example of world-class service. We couldn’t have been more impressed and will absolutely be back. Highly recommend.

Ruud Noordzij So good! Our friend in Saint Augustine knew about this place and took us there after our arrival in town. In short, the shrimp and grits are to die for! That sauce is unmatched, and the shrimp is nice. Sadly, the grouper and salmon were sold out so we opted for the Caribbean Grill. Great choice as the fish was flaky, nicely prepared and very fresh. Mussels as a starter, very nice as well. Nice attentive service (thanks Baylie) and the fact that this restaurant is coastal is a great plus.... unfortunately, we were over for a rather late dinner but anyone visiting during the summer should have great ocean views. Highly recommended.

Joshua E. Bishop Rachel was our server and she was wonderful. The food was delightful as always. We went the Saturday before Christmas and even though the crowds were everywhere and everything seemed extra busy, the atmosphere and service was top notch and we were welcomed and served near immediately. I would personally recommend their Ribeye. It’s an excellent and was cooked exactly as I requested.

Craig Rose We really enjoyed our New Years Eve dinner here at J Alexanders! The food was excellent especially the Steak and everyone enjoyed their meal. We started with fried calamari which was excellent as well as the salad wedges. The service was also excellent. Our waiter, Charles, was very attentive and very nice and everything came out quickly and perfectly. The atmosphere is also very nice. This is a great spot in the heart of Naples.

Kyle Zinn Been there a few times and the food and service are always on point. The Chicken Piccata is my favorite with their Alfredo being a close second. The desserts are also amazing. Rich, flavorful, and definitely worth saving room for or taking to go. I have a very mild coconut allergy but had to sneak a taste of the homemade bread pudding everyone raved about and it so worth it! The vibe is relaxed but still feels special, and the service was friendly and attentive. One of my favorite places in Bradenton for a nice dinner and great food all around!
