Bruce McLaughlin From the street and as you step into the restaurant, the atmosphere is dated. So why the four star rating on atmosphere? This is a family restaurant spanning multi-generations and when it first opened the atmosphere was quite inviting at the time. The food is authentic, plentiful and served by family members. When you factor in the authenticity paired with a true family run restaurant, the atmosphere really needs no explanation. I am not a regular customer, but I have been several times over the course of almost 40 years and it is as wonderful today as it was the first time I stepped through their front door. Warm and inviting, Mario invite you into their family kitchen for homestyle Italian food with genuine, gracious hospitality.

Charity Perkins Always a blast! The spot is right on the Bay and its absolutely stunning. Theyve got a playground for the kiddos and sand volleyball for the adults. The staff is super friendly and top-notch. The food and service? Always the best. Today, we kicked off with some awesome rolls and house-made honey butter. The Deviled Crab basket was a steal for $9.99 - four deviled crabs and fries! We also devoured the Spinach and Shrimp dip. My Yellowtail Sunrise sushi was a dream, perfectly put together. Huge portions, tasty drinks, gorgeous views, and fantastic service - its a top family spot!

Onna The food was just okay. The meat in both tacos were bland, as well as the chimichurri. The refried beans were decent enough, but couldve also been seasoned more. I also tried their horchata, but it was way too sweet! The only things I enjoyed that night was the chips and guac. Theres too many great Mexican restaurants in Jacksonville, and a few in Yulee to settle for this place.

Erica Brough This place certainly was worth the drive. The atmosphere is clean, comfortable, laid back, with perfect views of the river, great service, and very tasty food. We all enjoyed our meals: shrimp basket with coleslaw, awesome French fries, and a hush puppy; fried scallops basket with onion rings; and grouper tacos. Delicious, crispy, hot, fresh! Music was playing. It was a bit cool, eating in the shade of the breezy outdoor seating area beneath the stilted building above. Nice vibes. Great menu. Good scenery. Clean. 5 stars!!!!

Elisabeth Flinsch We went in for brunch around 11 on a Saturday. Party of 4. No wait. The food was fantastic. The portions were huge. Hands down best brunch place we’ve been in the area. I will say that the pancakes and French toast were very very sweet so be prepared for a sugar bomb! But the savory options were also very good. The homemade biscuits are a must have. The potato pancake was so well cooked and spiced. But I have to say the service was also awesome. Greeted by all the servers, but our lady Kayla was super sweet, checked in on us multiple times, answered questions, etc she was amazing! Thank you for a great experience.

Lucey Scott (23 Indian DarkHorse) Chatting with my neighbor this afternoon, I said I was craving for a burger ! He stepped up to the plate & mentioned THE LOOP ! I live knot only 5 minutes away so I set my sails for the loop ! I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger, of course ya have to get the fries ! Other choices are available for sides. Establishment was clean, service was fast, staff were very polite. Music selection wasn’t bad either. Please stop in to make your own judgement but you’ll be back.
