5 /5 Ray Miller: Small town hidden gem of a restaurant with a comfortable relaxing atmosphere. I thought Id try it out as our mens group is planning to meet there for breakfasts. My server, Jackie [Jaquelyn] there on alternate Sundays) was excellent, friendly, and a good conversationalist. I ordered the "Simply Breakfast" with bacon scrambled eggs wheat toast and hash browns. I asked if she would have the cook add grilled onions to the hash browns and it was worth it! Many places serve hash browns that are limp, way too soggy oily or greasy, but these were great: nice golden brown crunch on the outside and just right inside. The scrambled eggs were fine and the bacon was cooked just right. Jackie said a lot of people enjoy the country fried steak and the burgers. I definitely plan to come back and try the lunch selections. Its worth the short trip on Hwy 90 from Lake City or Live Oak and even from the Wellborn exit off I-10. Open 8-2 Sundays, 8-3 the other days.
