Jordan C Ms. Courtney was a great and very helpful server throughout our entire visit. She made sure our food was correct, and anytime there was an issue, she handled it quickly and professionally. I really appreciate all the help she provided to make our dinner a great experience.

Tubby Toms Sports Bar & Grill - Covington

Rating: 4.3 /5
Jack Lou A fantastic place to eat, drink and have fun. Food is 10/10 amazing and drinks are the same with much variety. Visited 5 times on a 10 day trip to Covington and loved every time. Staff was very welcoming, friendly and tentative. Quick service and reasonable prices. They managed to find and put on the UK Football as requested each time I asked and had multiple screens on with a variety of things to watch while you sit and eat/drink. Can’t recommend enough and when we come back to Georgia we will definitely e stopping by for some wings & chips!

The Traveling Hobo Cafe - Watkinsville

Sam Beasley Prompt friendly service. The fried pickles are really good. Update a year later. I have upgraded my review to five stars on all three levels. This is something I dont do too often, but yesterdays experience was great. The food was outstanding. I ordered the Fried Shrimp Basket with a side of fried dill pickles. The price was reasonable; I received ten large shrimps, with light batter and not too greasy, just right! Same for the side of fried dill pickles. My dining partner has fried artichoke po boy and loved hers. She said that the battered fried artichoke hearts were so good, she wished that she could just order a whole backet of those. While I waited for the food, about 15 minutes because it was so busy at lunch time, I had time to watch the kitchen prepare meals. This small bistro (because it is a small local restaurant) is very well run. There were just three people turning out orders and food for about a continuous group of 30 people. This team of three women were impressive the way they worked together. Everything synchronized. They were all busy but friendly and courteous. The locals were friendly and courteous also. The atmosphere is one where it is simple but warm and cozy. Makes me want to go back. Parking is a little tricky but doable. I highly recommend the Traveling Hobo for fried southern treats at reasonable prices. Well done ladies!

Aubri Lanes - Milledgeville

Cheryl Youmans My husband and I brag on Aubri Lane’s constantly, that’s how much we love this restaurant. We both agree that they have the greatest customer service, their food is always great and it’s consistent just as their customer service is. My husband and I eat here at least once a week and sometimes twice a week. We have eaten at a lot of different restaurants not only here in this area but in other states as well and Aubri Lane’s by far has the best food of any restaurant we’ve been to. Not to say we haven’t ate at any good restaurants because we have but this is our favorite.

Southern Roots Tavern - McDonough

Katie Anderson I submitted an email inquiry to host about 20 people for a birthday party - we had never been here before. Dee and team did a fantastic job accommodating us! The food was tasty and hot and came out quickly. Drinks were good. Our server was very attentive and nailed our orders. They even offered us a table for a Godsmack cover band that night. We were able to decorate some and bring our own cupcakes. Thank you for a great first experience! The wicked chicken is 10/10. The ONLY comment I have is it was slightly dark in there for it to be mid day but that is okay!

Mariscos Costa Alegre - Dalton

Sandra Gonzalez So Good! This place was seriously amazing. The seafood was super fresh and full of flavor — you can really tell they know what they’re doing. There were so many options on the menu, it was actually hard to choose (in a good way). The drinks were great, and the vibe was awesome — fun, laid-back, and just a really good place to hang out. It’s also super family-friendly, which is a nice bonus. The service was on point too — super friendly and helpful without being over the top. Honestly, I can’t wait to go back. If you’re into seafood, this place is a must-try!
