Applebees Grill + Bar - (Near Fort Oglethorpe, GA)

1 /5 Angela Broome: If I could give 0 stars I absolutely would. My husband ordered a cheeseburger with mustard & ketchup, I ordered salmon. His burger was plain & had plastic or something hard like plastic when he tried to cut it in half. My salmon was raw. We asked a server walking by if she could let our server know to come check on us. She immediately asked if my salmon was raw. The kitchen manager then came out & we gave her the plastic or whatever it was. She wasn’t sure what it was. They offered to remake his burger, but he declined. They did make another salmon for me. The manager brought it out, apologized & said they would “take care” of the salmon as a discount. We get the bill & were charged twice for the salmon with 1 removed. I asked the server & she said the manager added a discount. I should have taken a picture of the raw salmon & the plastic but we thought they were going to make it right. The toilet in the women’s restroom is barely attached with god knows what in the floor that people are tracking from the bathroom into the restaurant. The server was nice but this place is a complete joke.

3 /5 Jason Avans: Havent ate at Applebees in a long while. While service was great, kept drinks filled and checked up on us to see if we need anything on numerous occasions and very friendly, the food here at this location..because thats all I have to go by, was absolutely the worst food I have ever been served ( and I thought about if it had been). Myself, wife 7 year old and baby. Baby was happy with French fries but none of us finished our meals. Wife ordered steak, kid had chicken quesadilla and I had what I always get when I dont know what I want..chicken fingers. Normally a very basic but good choice with a side of fries and some good house made honey mustard, they had good honey mustard. But unfortunately thats where all the goodness ended. Wifes steak was very thin and tough, ordered medium. Kid only ate a couple bites of his quesadilla and decided the fries were gonna be his dinner. My fries were about twice the size of a french fry and mostly batter and would be what I might expect from a burger king chicken fry but even less appetizing. Originally went to try the new won ton tacos but they were out. Cant see ever spending my money there again. And the bill was 92$

3 /5 Amanda Giovo: This was my first time at this location. I wasn’t impressed. Although my service was great. The place was gross. It looks like mold is coming out of the vents, dust all over the light fixtures. And when I received my food, and my mash potatoes were cold, they stuck them in a bowl and heated it up in a microwave. I wanted warm food. Not food that was going to burn my mouth as soon as I ate it. It was in there so long that it was burnt around the sides. Only good thing today was the service and my steak.

1 /5 Faith Ingle: Just left possibly the worst Applebees experience Ive ever had. My husband and I were sat, then ordered drinks and an appetizer to split. Our server went to put the order in, brought our drinks, and said shed be back to get our main order. The app came out in about 10 minutes. 20 minutes after we got the app, our server came back to the table and acted shocked we had finished it already, then said she had forgotten to take our menus earlier. When we said we wanted to order entrées she again seemed very surprised, kind of rolled her eyes and then took our order. We had gotten items off the 2 for $25 deal, and expressed that we were ordering off that part of the menu. Our server disappeared for another 20 minutes, and then when she came back, my husband asked for more water and if our salads would be out soon, and she rolled her eyes at him and quite rudely said "Im getting them now". She did bring our salads and our food arrived roughly 2 minutes later. Server again disappeared for about 30 minutes. When she came back, she had already printed the check. We then asked to order dessert, and were told "were not doing desserts tonight". After she said that, we heard her continue to offer desserts to the tables surrounding us. When looking over the check, we noticed that we had been charged full price for everything alé cart. When our sever did finally come back, we asked to speak with a manager about getting the bill corrected. She responded with "Well I had no idea you wanted that. Im not getting a manager but someone will correct it for me." Roughly 15 minutes after that, we received the corrected bill, and after another 10 minutes she finally took our payment. Overall we were in the restaurant for just over 2 hours, and most of that time was spent watching our sever visit tables around us while avoiding walking past our table and acting like we werent there. And this is less important, but when she refilled my tea, she had to ask 3 times what flavor I had gotten in it and then still brought the wrong thing. The food itself was decent, but a little overcooked and my burger was brought out cold. I usually dont complain about bad visits to restaurants, but honestly our servers weird attitude made both me and my husband feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. We wont be visiting this location again. Servers name was Madeline.
