Reasonable prices.. $5 entry on sat night .. free Parking..mixed drinks $8+, food $10 - $30+ they have crab legs!!!!

They have a variety of soul food choices: baked, fried, and grilled chicken; ox tails, neck bones; pigs feet; collards, cabbage, mac and cheese, rice sweet potatoe souffle, black eyed peas, and so much more!!! You gotta try if youre in the neighborhood.

Christy Jo Henson I used to swear I would not eat here bc of the name. Then one day, my bf insisted I try a bite of his cold whole catfish. I dont even like whole catfish all that much. That is, until that day! Man! I wanted more! It took me a minute to get over the name of the restaurant but when I did, I went and got some whole catfish (fresh and hot this time) for me and my Mama and we tore it up! Their chicken wings are the best ive ever eaten and the fried mushrooms are so so good. They just dont have any Ranch Dressing which is weird. Oh, the coleslaw is good but the portion size is a freakin joke! The cakes look delicious and they probably are when theyre first made. I think mine had sat there too long bc it was dry but ill try it again. The restaurant in general though, best fried food around! They just need to sell some collard greens to mop all that unhealthy fried food out. Love this place though.

Mac McCormick III An outstanding BBQ pork sandwich. The sauce seems to be a vinegar/mustard based sauce and doesnt overpower the smoked (oak) pork. The Brunswick Stew is great, too - full of vegetables and potato. Its been years since Ive been and its just as good as I remember it was

Howard Marlow Found this place on the way for a weekend trip to Savannah. After driving looking a little we settled on this place from Yelp reviews. Even though landlocked, wife had better seafood than some of the places we at at in Savannah. She said the shrimp and lobster bisque ranked up there as her all time favorite. Great historic location, easily accessible to I-16. Located in a great area for food, it was a nice stop with great service (thanks Stephanie) and atmosphere. Crowd was steady so they must be consistent. If we were local this would be a regular spot for sure.
