Pauls Steakhouse - Helen

pyzark I recently dined at Paul’s Steakhouse and had an amazing experience, particularly with the Rainbow Trout I ordered. The fish was perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful, making for a delightful meal. The service was also commendable; our waitress was quick and efficient, ensuring we had everything we needed without delay. Overall, the staff provided excellent service, contributing to a pleasant dining atmosphere. The only downside was that the fries served with the fish were cold, which was a bit disappointing. However, this minor issue did not overshadow the overall quality of the meal and service. I would highly recommend Paul’s Steakhouse for anyone looking to enjoy a delicious meal!

Johnathan Morris We had reservations here for our company Christmas party. In a nutshell: everything was amazing!!! If I had to nitpick I would say the wait was kind of long but even then, we had very comfortable seating for the wait and its to be expected with a place like this. It was a packed house! Our waiter was a Jamaican gentleman who was very attentive, polite, and quick. A woman came to our table and took requests for songs....and she was belting out those notes!!!! We had a blast!!! I had the fried lobster and it was beyond excellent. This is one of those places where the food looks pretentious but it is VERY good and more than filling! In short, we would definitely eat here again and I highly recommend it!

pcarruth2 Celebrated our anniversary here recently and the experience was 10/10 in every way. Beautiful space, amazing menu, attentive service, and great food to go with it all. The house focaccia is really light and airy, not what I expected, but a delicious way to start the meal with that tasty butter. We tried the Tomato Nduja Passata and Marinated White Anchovies with it as well. Both were great but those salty anchovies were wonderful. Next was the Arancini which was some of the best I’ve had. Just enough truffle and had a great consistency. The Shrimp with the Chile Butter was fantastic as well. Had some heat but not too much for my wife who’s not the biggest spice lover. For entrees we had the Agnolotti, the Crispy Pork ‘Milanese’ and a side of the Broccolini. The Agnolotti was as good as advertised. The Crispy Pork might have been my favorite though with that lemony clam sauce and the perfectly breaded and fried pork. Finished with some type of cheese cake I can’t remember but it was absolutely incredible, especially paired with a glass of Madeira wine. What a memorable anniversary it was. Can’t wait to come back.

Drea N Eric You need a reservation but we arrived almost an hour early and we were sat immediately on a Saturday. We sat in a private corner and enjoyed this place so much we will be back. Its a little pricy but the food is excellent! We decided to get a special for an appetizer and the prime rib for dinner as its their special on Friday and Saturday night.

Kristie Ang If you’re craving seafood and bold Cajun flavors in Georgia, this place should be at the top of your list. Everything is cooked to perfection. The grilled octopus comes out perfectly charred and melt-in-your-mouth tender. The crawfish étouffée is loaded with tender crawfish in a rich, deeply seasoned sauce full of that classic Louisiana spice. And the roasted oysters are just downright addictive. A fantastic spot for anyone who loves coastal Southern cooking done right. They’re almost always packed, so booking a reservation is your best bet if you want to avoid a long wait. Even with the crowds, the service stays impressively quick and efficient, making the whole experience seamless.

Steven Bliss I was visiting my cousin for Thanksgiving and one of my close friends recommended that I come to this restaurant while I was there. So we decided to go to lunch the day after Thanksgiving. It was absolutely hustling and bustling. I wish I could have tried everything on the menu, but we decided to split two meals because neither of us had been there. We had the shrimp and grits and the baked sea bass, with a side of garlic bread to sop up the juices. All I can say is, that was one of the greatest meals Ive had in a long time. The service was outstanding, but even more so everybody around us were like family. Everyone carried on conversations and wanted to know what something tasted like. It was one of the greatest eating experiences because it felt like you were at home, rather than an individualized, compartmentalized restaurant. Dont get me wrong, Im not saying theres anything wrong with that, but Pappadeauxs anything but that. My mouth absolutely flipped over the incredible flavors that were being put into it. The sea bass was perfect in every way, but the shrimp and grits, that was a twist that I didnt expect. It wasnt like your typical, south carolina or traditional shrimp and grits... it was the perfect combination of unexpected flavors. I literally took pictures of the meal and sent them immediately to my friend, who recommended it, and I said, we have to make a day trip down to atlanta, just to eat and then go back home.
