Fazolis - Fort Oglethorpe
Miranda Coffey I don’t know if this will ever get to the right person, but whoever is running the Fazoli‘s in Fort Oglethorpe I want to tell you about your crew that was working on New Year’s Eve. My husband, daughter and I went in about 630 for dinner what you don’t know is that….that is the first real food my daughter had ate in 12 days. She had Covid a week or 2 before Christmas and her taste buds never came back… I work for a local hospital and had gotten off work and did not feel like doing anything. Then my daughter said I want Fazoli‘s, which was like music to my ears. when we walked in, I noticed that the majority of the staff looked to be in the late teens early 20s they could’ve been in a horrible mood because they had to work on New Year’s Eve. However, they weren’t. I have ate at the nicest restaurants I’ve traveled to New York and ate at Michelin star restaurants I have ate at restaurants in Las Vegas. I have never had such amazing customer service and just, general kindness By a bunch of young adults. Mind you I was already nervous and I was praying with everything I had that my daughter would eat something. So I anxiously ordered her food and our food and my daughter asked about bread and within a few seconds there was a plate with bread on it in Given to me by a sweet lady who said go ahead and take her this and I’ll bring you more. She said it’s so kindly she didn’t know my story she didn’t know how much of a difference that kind gesture meant. I brought the breadsticks over to the table. My daughter picked one up and said I wish I had cheese… A young man that works there just happened to be walking by at that time he stopped and grated her some cheese on the plate next to the breadsticks and spoke so sweetly to her while he did it… He ran out of cheese he went and got our food and brought her more cheese….. I sat They’re praying that my daughter would eat next thing I know she picked up that breadstick and then another and then another and then another then she said mommy I wish I had more cheese because that’s what I’m eating and it’s making me feel better. Another young lady stopped at our table a few minutes later and asked if we needed anything and cleared mine and my husband‘s plate I asked for more cheese, she didn’t question me. She just smiled at my daughter and said I like that cheese too And gave her more. Tears came rolling down my eyes As I watched my daughter eat. As I left, I said thank you to them. What an amazing polite group of young adults….. and I’m sorry this was long. I just wanted to let you know how much the kindness of the staff changed my life and helped a little seven-year-old. You never really know how much someone is going through so thank you to all the staff that was working!
