When Pigs Fly BBQ - Monroe

Rating: 4.2 /5
Brad Berger This is the place for bbq in UGA country! The Turkey Plate with two sides (Mac and cheese and side salad) were outstanding! I paired the Turkey with their sweet bbq sauce and their spicy one. It was sublime! My wife had the pulled chicken with sides of green beans and fried okra. She loved it, too! The portions are very generous. Service is done with distinct Southern charm and friendliness! We’re even buying quarts of their sauce for our son’s wedding reception! Go to When Pigs Fly…you will not regret it!

Seth Sorano Probably the first time going to Olive Garden and not ordering pasta. I decided on the Grilled Chicken Margarita and the quality was there too! I recommend the Strawberry Cream Cake as a light dessert option.

Jim Shaws Seafood Grill - Macon

Richard Weeks Great seafood spot. Reminds me of seafood shacks on the coast. Good food, friendly service. My group enjoyed oysters on half shell, mussels, shrimp, salmon and catfish. All were great. Squash casarole side was best Ive ever had outside moms. Only complaint was one of my traditional yankee seafood loving buddies thought the mussels came with too much butter. Didnt bother me.

Becks - Augusta

Rating: 4.6 /5
Clyde Richards This may hands down be one of the best restaurants overall for an Augusta date night. I had the special Sea Bass and it was cooked so clean to perfection. The appetizer pimento balls were on another level as well. My wife loved her drinks and the brownie desert and key lime pie were irresistible. Save this one for the occasion.

Le Gabrielle Crepes & Waffles - Winder

SoFloFitLife Dance Visiting GA from NYC, and my brother in law suggested this place. We were surprised to see this place was slammed on a Tuesday morning but we didn’t have to wait long. It was worth the wait, as this breakfast was one the best breakfasts I’ve had in a long time! I ordered the eggs Benedict (under the waffle section on the menu) and loved every bite! The home fries were perfectly seasoned and cooked. The waffles were light and fluffy and the chicken was perfectly crispy. I also ordered coffee and orange juice. The coffee had great flavor (was not expecting that) and the OJ was freshly squeezed. 10/10 would recommend

Flying Monk Noodle Bar - Savannah

Dierra Jones One of my favorite restaurants to eat while I’m in downtown Savannah! I often times get my food to go and I always order their house special fried rice with shrimp and tofu for my protein choice. They also have the best spring rolls as well!! If you want good flavor definitely check them out!
