Maggianos Little Italy - Atlanta

Courtney Fowler Hands down the best restaurant I’ve ever eaten at in my life. From the moment you walk in until the moment you walk out this place has a reputation it absolutely upholds. Our waitress was Brittany and she was phenomenal. We started out with the pomegranate martini for me and the old fashioned for my fiancé. Presentation on the old fashioned was beautiful. We got the family style meal that includes 2 large salads, 2 large appetizers, 4 entrees and 3 desserts to share for $100. There are several different apps and entrees to choose from but the chicken parm was incredible. The desserts are just out of this world. We got the butter cake, chocolate cake and cheesecake and they were HUGE pieces. It was my fiancés birthday and they went over the top with the nicest birthday card for him and ice cream. He said it was the best vanilla ice cream he had ever tasted. We will absolutely be back to Atlanta just to come to Maggianos! Thank you so much!

Joe Hamner The Philly Cheese steak sandwich and chili dog special were really good. The fried mushroom were pretty good as well. The French dip sandwich was just ok. Over all we had a good experience and will be back.

Daphne Lodge Restaurant - Cordele

SouthFlorida Thrifter Wow. Ive lived for decades in Miami and Atlanta, and this little inconspicuous place on 280 between Cordele and Americus is one of the most unique dining experiences Ive ever had. It was almost like when you ask your great aunt if shes got any liquor around, and she breaks out a bottle of MacCallan 25 like its no big deal: nonchalantly premium in a comfortable place. The food was top notch period. I havent seen a cut of meat that thick and beautiful for under $50 ($42 and well worth it) since the 90s. Good service is attentive without being disruptive, friendly but not contrived, and they hit it right in the mark. Effervescent minus the kind of ostentation Ive usually seen with that level of food and ambiance. Accomplishing homey atmosphere in fine dining is no easy feat, but Daphne Lodge does it and Im not even sure how. Its more about a feel than a look, and its there. Highly recommend. Worth taking a detour off 75, but check the hours. A place like this isnt open all day every day, and it shouldnt be, because its special.

Dawn Heiselman We stopped in last year, had an excellent meal. Came back camping this year and we were upset because we came by her on Wednesday and they were closed and stopped again today and its just as good. Husband ordered turkey and cheese, lettuce and tomato and fries. I got the chicken pastel with lettuce and tomato onion and Im telling you youve just got to stop. This meal is excellent! You order at the counter, the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. They bring your meal out to you.

Jessi Shirey Small selection of a few main items but it was still hard to choose. The teriyaki chicken was definitely not disappointing AND I ate lunch and dinner from one order. I have to mention the carrots were incredible. Dont be fooled by the outside appearance, theyre NOT closed ! They are doing a bit of remodeling. It was a Monday!! Add this little place to your very few options on that day. Its fast, tasty, and oversized.
