Kristina For a small town like Sandersville, this a big hearty meal with prices so cheap youll drive a ways for it. You walk in the door and go straight to the table with trays and silverware, then hit the buffet. Then by the drink counter, and pick your own table. We went at 11:45am and the parking lot was pretty full but not everyone goes to the restaurant that parks there. There was definitely a line, but it moved quickly. They had stuff Ive never seen on a buffet, like hoecakes, corn nuggets, fatback, fried squash medallions, cheese grits, and Brunswick stew, alongside your normal offerings of potato salad, macaroni salad, mixed salad and fixings, cornbread muffins and biscuits, black-eyed peas and rice, fried chicken, fried fish, green beans with ham hocks, macaroni and cheese, some kind of cherry or raspberry cobbler, and they had the most delicious chocolate chip cookie pie with whipped cream. I hardly ever have dessert but I went back for seconds on that. You could tell the cookies and cream were homemade. Hell, everything was. Plenty of open tables and everyone was friendly, like youd expect in rural Georgia. They kept our glasses filled and cleared our trays as soon as we sat back to relax before round two. It was just the two of us but we overheard a family of 6 ate for $52 because two were kids under 10 and they ate free. Its $12.96 per person for an all you can eat country homemade buffet makes for a rare gem in a cute town.

Valerie Ortiz I’ve edited my review. They no longer allow you to purchase the mini street tacos without buying alcohol. So sober people I’m sorry no cheap tacos for you. So I’ve been multiple times. I’m kinda of a sucker for taco Tuesday’s they have $1 mini tacos if you purchase beer or an appetizer and that reminds me of home. The food is delicious the workers are welcoming and sweet. If you’re not sure what to order tacos are a must. The yucca fries are delicious. The soups are fabulous I’ve had the chicken and the shrimp you can’t go wrong. Honestly I haven’t had anything bad from them. Lovely restaurant.

Ann Smith Ok I have always loved Big Chick in Manchester GA. Today a little after lunch time, I bought a ,2 piece meal. The chicken was to greasy. Yall use to never have greasy chicken. The employees now need to let the grease drain off longer or something. The batter also was not seasoned as well as it use to be. I love this place, please make them so better and season the chicken the way it use to be seasoned and youll have us coming back for the meals that we have always loved from yall. Quit letting current employees try to change things. We want the original recipe of all that you all have.I have to update this as tonight was the best chicken ever and whom ever cooked it yall need to keep them and to teach others how to make that chicken on point like it was tonight. That was the best chicken and not greasy what so ever. Yall need to teach all of them to cook it like it was tonight and on point. I couldnt get enough of that chicken. Give whomever cooked it tonight a raise because they are doing yall a favor by doing it perfectly.
