Alan Tyler I have something to say about Pengs... I have been eating at this restaurant since the very first moment they opened the doors back in the 80s ... the food here has always been top notch , the people working here are exceptional and always polite !! I have absolutely never been disappointed ... once a week I place an order for the crew at work, for the past five years straight & not even the pickiest of people has ever had a single complaint !! I have seen some of the negative reviews on here ... some of things mentioned simply did not happen !! The entire family and the workers there are the most polite and caring people in the business ... when I see a review complaining about being treated poorly, or the food smelling like "ammonia" or small servings ? I call BS to this ... the proof is simply in the parking lot !! To the entire gang at Pengs...Brian, Indira & Kim... simply dont pay any attention to the complainers on google reviews , most of them have an agenda thats very transparent !!

Chris Burris I ordered Brunswick stew and 2 lbs of brisket. This place is a Carnivores dream. The brisket is sliced thin and is still moist and tender. Perfect amount of fat to meat ratio but I like my briskets untrimmed. Good smoke flavor you can immediately smell the smoke after opening the container. The Brunswick stew is honestly unlike anything Ive ever had. I really liked it. It was gone within 2 miles of the store. 2 southern gems running the window with great attitude and charm. Ill be back in the area next week and Im definitely hitting this place up again.

Nija I sat at the bar and Kiki was my bartender and I ordered the dusse lemonade and after my first sip all I could think of was that drake song “Kiki do you love me?” Her service and drinks were A1 I will definitely return back for her drinks.

Christy Burkett I can’t speak to the service or atmosphere. I ordered my New Years Day good luck meal via Uber Eats. Ray’s did NOT disappoint! Almost as good as mama’s (couldn’t make it to her house this year). The black eyed peas had a very slight sweetness that made them delicious and the collards were spot on. Cornbread had crispy edges and teensy bit of sweetness. Mac n Cheese and fried okra completed the meal with what may have been the stars of the show. Ya’ll! Don’t hesitate to order from here. Kisses to the chef. Thanks for helping me bring in the New Year with my southern traditions!

David Flores When i tell you everyone came and checked on our table! We felt like family here. The food was amazing and fresh. Wait time was perfect and the attention was so warm and welcoming. Highly recommend coming in and enjoy some of the best pasta and pies in town!
