5 /5 Christy Burkett: I can’t speak to the service or atmosphere. I ordered my New Years Day good luck meal via Uber Eats. Ray’s did NOT disappoint! Almost as good as mama’s (couldn’t make it to her house this year). The black eyed peas had a very slight sweetness that made them delicious and the collards were spot on. Cornbread had crispy edges and teensy bit of sweetness. Mac n Cheese and fried okra completed the meal with what may have been the stars of the show. Ya’ll! Don’t hesitate to order from here. Kisses to the chef. Thanks for helping me bring in the New Year with my southern traditions!

5 /5 Miranda Steib: My husband and I visited Ray’s Southern Food for the first time, and they absolutely hit the mark in every area—customer service, cleanliness, and taste. The owner was very personable, and the staff was attentive and thorough. They were knowledgeable about the menu and carefully reviewed our order with us to ensure it was 100% accurate. They explained this is their standard practice so any issues can be resolved before guests leave—because we all know how frustrating it is to get home and realize your order is wrong. The staff wore gloves, hair nets, and beard nets, which we really appreciated. Most importantly, the food was delicious—well cooked and seasoned to perfection. We will definitely be back.

1 /5 Demetria Woodfin: I have had Rays quite a few times and always loved it and raved about how good the food is but I went in on yesterday 9/25/25 at 4:43pm. I got home and started to eat and the vegetables were horrible. Everything tasted burnt or old. I ordered a 2 meat combo with rib tips and chicken tenders with 7 cheese mac n cheese and baked beans. I also ordered a three veggie plate with fried cabbage, fried corn, and yams. I also ordered the vanilla pound cake. The entire order cost me $39.27 and I wish I could dispute the charge because it was truly a waste of my money. At least I was able to eat my meat because it was the only part of the meal that was worth it. At this point I don’t know if I will go back. I don’t know what or who changed in there but I don’t like wasting my money and I was very unhappy with my meal.
