farm to fork

Farm To Fork - Ringgold

Rating: 4.3 /5
iamtriplec We went out to watch the new Superman movie and on the way back home decided to get supper. We had never visited Farm to Fork before, but had heard good things. So we decided to stop by. The parking lot was full! Get inside and theres a full house with a couple of groups waiting to be seated. The inside looked nice. Its half and half...maybe off a bit on that ratio. Half is restaurant the other half is a bar and dance floor with live music. The music is loud, but really doesnt completely over power the dining area since there is a wall between the 2 sections. Our waitress Deborah was very nice. We looked over the menu and finally was able to chose our dishes. My wife got the grilled chicken, fried green tomatoes, mashed potatoes and a lemonade. The kids each got a farm burger with cheese, but one added bacon and took off the garden while the other had it as is. They had fries as a side and tea to drink. I myself decided on the hamburger steak with gravy with sides of fried squash and roasted corn and tea to drink. My wife and I tried each others dishes so that we could try them. The chicken wasnt dry and had good flavor to it. It was definitely a delicious bite and great choice. My hamburger steak, like the chicken, had plenty of moistness to it. It wasnt tough and it wasnt falling apart. Hit just right! The flavor was great. Had some smokiness to it without over powering. The gravy was just the cherry on top. Smooth and savory. The sides were great compliments to the entrees. We also ordered some wings for the table. My wife had one, and my boy and I ate the rest. Again, perfectly cooked, meaty....mouth is watering for them right now even though its been a couple of months since we visited. On top of this, they offer a military discount. Definitely needed since its not cheap, but they do have some good quality food! I believe it definitely rates the prices. We enjoyed it and will return.

The Plaza Restaurant & Oyster Bar - Thomasville

Mrs Colon We stopped for lunch and the food was good. The building has poor lighting, probably due to age of building. They have a buffet from 11-2pm. What I found funny was the cloth table coverings and napkins, for a restaurant with a discount ambiance, lol, but I would recommend a visit. The hamburger steak was delicious.

Asahi Express Japanese Steak House & Seafood - Tifton

WiLuvU Generally speaking, it is pretty good in this area. It is fast food kinda restaurant. I originally thought it might be quite mediocre, however it turns out to be not bad at all judging by the price, taste and waiting time. Try to avoid ordering their chicken dishes, the chicken tastes very bland and dry.

The Water Tower Grille - Adairsville

Gabriel Cain Id been wanting to get in here for a while. Stopped in before the Woodland Adairsville football game and it was great! Burger was fantastic, beer was fresh on tap and it was packed. Plenty of folks in there to mingle with.

brian adams Id give more stars if I could. Just wanted a bbq sandwich. Didnt expect much, but man this place slaps. And theyre nice people too. Fair warning though, this place actually smokes their meat. So if you dont like real smoked bbq, this place aint for ya.

The Steak House - Rockmart

Nick LaPinta I want to start my review with atmosphere. From the second you pull into the spacious parking lot, youre greeted with a cozy barn with some string lights that is like a warm hug on your eyes. The Steak House itselfs exterior gives you small town hidden gem energy. You walk in and are greated by a very friendly lady. I am very heavily tattooed from face down. Im no stranger to disgusted or judgmental looks in small towns. But I was greated and conversed with like a local. Thats very much something I appreciate. The whole dining area was lit with a warm light, it was well decorated for the fall season and the staff was attentive and friendly. The bread rolls are amazing! The soft butter paired with the seasoning on the bread leaves you fighting to not eat it all and save room for food. And trust me, youll want to do that. We had an order of fried mushrooms to start. I know thats not everyones cup of tea, but theyre worth a go if you like mushrooms. Theyre paired with i believe it was a house ranch (I might be mistaken) and a 1000 island. Personally, I am not a ranch guy, but with the mushrooms, they went well together and both sauces had great flavor. Now for the meats. Listen... Ive paid from $10 to $100 for one cut of steak. This ribeye comes in under $40 (current pricing) and tops EVERY STEAK IVE MADE MYSELF AND ORDERED! Medium rare, perfectly seasoned, hearty, and great portions. Our hour drive home was slow and with the button on my pants undone. That was warranted because we decided to end our night with a deep fried cheesecake drizzled in raspberry sauce. This desert had a delightful presentation with gluttony fair food energy in the flavor. This whole meal was worth every heavy deep breath i took all the way home. I live an hour away. And i would drive even farther if i had to. If youre a foodie and are willing to travel for meat... do not sleep on The steak House. Kevin (the owner), his family and team have made a gem that shouldnt be hidden. To put this review simply. Based on atmosphere, taste, and value, The Steak House is a MUST GO place! Oh and last thing... THE CAJIN SAUCE!!!! its like a butter bas with cajin seasoning... that with the steak... BLISS!
