Grassroots Coffee - (Near Thomasville, GA)

Jennifer Hockema Busy Friday night, but we got seated right away. Our waitress, Addison, was a very good communicator letting us know that the kitchen had a delay with our order. Everything was tasty and bathrooms were pretty clean.

B. Hixson My first time coming here today as I do not live in the area (from Atlanta), but came to shop at the outlet and decided to stop in for dinner. The server Sophie, was very attentive, polite, friendly and fast! The manager was also awesome! I ordered the Merry Berry Margarita it was ok, could’ve had more liquor but if you’re into sweet drinks this one you would like. It may be a holiday seasonal drink though. We orders the pot stickers and spinach dip. The dip was very good and so were the pot stickers. The pot stickers cooked a little longer than the manger would have liked so he had them remade before they even came out and they were good. The manager gave us donuts on the house for this. We both ordered the Lobster and Shrimp carbonara and it was good and creamy. The food was hot, fresh and good! But the service was superb! To be honest I was a bit skeptical as it was obvious we weren’t from around those parts but we received good service and I can appreciate that. If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll be sure to stop in again!

Mara Rasumoff We came here on Thanksgiving as we were traveling through to FL and no other restaurants were open. We are SO glad we didn’t have the option to go anywhere else or we wouldn’t have found this gem. We got the Thanksgiving special which was a Philly cheesesteak, 3 wings, fries and a drink for $13.99. We also ordered a side of coleslaw and corn nuggets. I’ve never had plain fried chicken wings like that but they were out of this world delicious and the meat was succulent. The hot sauce it came with on the side was perfect with it along with a side of ranch. The Philly cheesesteak was truly exceptional and filling. The corn nuggets were perfectly crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. The coleslaw was a refreshing, crunchy side to all of the other heavy foods. I can’t recommend this establishment enough. Delicious flavorful soul food at very affordable prices. If you get a chance to try this place out, you cannot pass it up.

Rashad T. OMG! Food was DELICIOUS! Some of the best pancakes I’ve ever had! Salmon patties reminded me of Grandma’s house. Grits, breakfast potatoes, and flounder were very good as well. Will definitely be back whenever in Douglasville! Sorry no pics of Salmon. Couldn’t help myself when the plate hit the table.
