Hog N Bones -Tifton - (Near Tifton, GA)

Brad Harper This is pretty much my new favorite BBQ place in the area. I’ve ate here 3 times so far and it didn’t disappoint each time. The Chopped or Sliced Brisket Sandwich is loaded with meat and super tasty. The Pulled Pork Sandwich isn’t quite as loaded down with meat as the brisket, but it’s also delicious. Not too much sauce, so you can still taste the flavor of the smoked meat. They have homemade BBQ sauces. I’ve tried Original and Sweet & Spicy. The Sweet & Spicy is my favorite of the two. Their Chicken and Sausage Gumbo is full of flavor, and quite a large portion. I’ve also tried their normal Sausage and Boudin Sausage. I loved the normal sausage, but I probably won’t order the Boudin again. The flavor was good, but I didn’t like the texture of that style of Sausage. My only complaint, is they don’t offer the sandwiches without a side coming with it. Sometimes I’d just like to just munch down on 2 sandwiches, without having to pay for 2 sides with them. I can’t wait to come back and try some more items on the menu. I also wish they had a few more sides, or maybe run a different daily/weekly special side. (Smoked Mac-n-cheese, Brunswick Stew???) I highly recommend this place. Best BBQ around!!!

The Princess and The Troll We stopped in for a beer and were excited to find oversized Modelo drafts for $5.00 and complimentary chips and salsa. The latter were delicious. The staff were friendly and outgoing. We did not eat, but the food looked and smelled excellent. The restaurant seemed to be hotspot for locals and truckers. If back in the area, we would definitely visit again.

George Hogge Its not bad for gas station pizza. I got the thin crust with all the toppings for less than $15. There are no pizza places within the delivery area of where I live. So, it is a good option in a pinch.

Pamela B OMG!!! I absolutely love Mamas Kitchen!! Some of the friendliest people Ive ever met and a very impressive menu!! The food was absolutely divine!! I had the Big Pig Platter with Brunswick Stew and tater logs. My husband chose the Brisket Plate with potato salad and baked beans. The ribs were very tender and just melt in your mouth!! The stew was good too (and its hard to find some good stew in my opinion). And please try the strawberry lemonade!! All plates come with two sides and free refills on the tea and lemonade. And yes, this is a food truck but they have an outdoor seating area (with tvs) if you want to eat there.

Al Eason Always my go to when I get back to my hometown. Definitely the best chicken in the area, and the cole slaw was great as usual.

mark oberhausen Stopped in for a cup of coffee and mid afternoon snack. They are so friendly, coffee was good and the pastries were fresh.
