1 /5 Hutcheson Car: This place needs to close down. This place should be really embarrassed.
Corporate would not be happy and which I will be notifying them. The owner is well aware of the issues this place has. We eat here about 3-4 times a week. The service is Normally good when Heather or Brandi is there, So today my husband and I went in. No waitress to be seen. The so called manager/cook/waiter was cooking for two other tables. After 9 minutes I stood up and asked if there was a waitress and he said it was him and he would be with us as soon as he got the two tables food out.
So another 6 or so minutes go by and he comes to our table. We ordered a mtn dew. A large OJ. I order a plain chicken breast. Nothing else with it. (Sandwich size). My husband ordered a chicken breast. Added cheese and bacon. And 2 eggs. We are on the carnivore diet. Meanwhile a lady gets up and goes to the other table and gets them refills cause they were trying to eat with no drinks. And grabs them to go boxes. She also clears some plates and takes them to dishwasher. No she doesn’t work there. She is a tax collector in McRae office. Just helping him out.
So the food comes to our table…my husband starts chowing down while I’m cutting mine up. I noticed it wasn’t done.
Like blood and pink in middle.
We notified him and he took it and said I thought it might not have been done, it was frozen…(what? Why would you attempt it?)
So he takes it back. And starts new plates.
By the time our food comes a second time, my husband was out of drink. He didn’t even ask or notice. So my husband got up and got his own drink. We eat and go to leave and it’s rang up to be $30 and change.
Now we didn’t get meals.
My husband tells the lady that arrives while we were eating and tells her that this place is a joke. Half the time they are out of so many things and she says like what cause I do all the ordering. I’m the manager in Vidalia. (Well that might be why they out of stuff cause you ain’t there) they are always out of a lot of stuff such as condiments, cups, lettuce, cheese, butter, toilet paper, etc etc. Brandi and Heather can tell you how bad the ordering is for this place.
Now the owner is nice and told us to tell him of any issues. But nothing ever changes. He really needs someone that will help his business to thrive. Make Brandi and Heather managers.
Yeah, the radio is blaring while you eat but atleast the food is ok and service is great. The current situation is just ruining huddle houses reputation.
Good grief. Do better.
We come here to sit down and eat and enjoy the 1 hour break but this place really needs to be closed. There is never enough help. I know for a fact that the waitress has had to wait tables and cook the food 4 seperate times we been there. I have a video of our chicken and today’s events but it won’t load.
Somethings gotta give.
There was a waitress that worked there about 3-4 months ago that was one of the best they ever had. Bring her back. She was reliable and wonderful.
Pay your help more so they will show up and get rid of your current management.
