Fairway Tavern - Valdosta

Rating: 4.4 /5
Rena Barclay I had such a lovely evening at Fairway Tavern last night. I dined with a group of friends and the evening was such fun! Being married to a Brit, I just had to order the Fish & Chips. Wow! Absolutely delicious!! The Cod was flakey and the crust was crispy- these Fish & Chips can certainly compete with any Pub in England. I can’t wait to take my husband to Fairway so that he can have a taste of home! The servers were so kind and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They made the evening so easy and enjoyable. The atmosphere is welcoming, attractive and the restaurant is clean- no sticky tables in this establishment! We are lucky to have Fairway Tavern in Valdosta. If you haven’t been- you must! And, if you have, keep going! We need to support our smaller local, family-owned businesses.

Kathy Smith Excellent Excellent restaurant. Food is great the owner Cindy is amazing and I never travel down I-16 without stopping at exit 201. Every other week we have to go to Emory from Savannah and thats our only stop going and coming home.

Kobe Japanese Steak House - Jesup

Rating: 3.8 /5
Cheri Strickland By far the worst Kobe’s we’ve ever eaten at! The Teriyaki Chicken with vegetables had 98% onion and only 2 slices of zucchini with no broccoli at all. At all the others we’ve eaten at, there was plenty of veggies in it. Here , there was plenty of chicken, but equal to the amount of onion. Also, they charge if you want additional sauces besides the one you are given with your order. At all the others, you get your own sauces. I understand the charging, but .50 cent per med cup is extreme considering how much sauce may be required or desired for the amount of a meal. Lastly, the tempura side I ordered was dripping with grease & had soaked up a lot which means the grease was not hot enough. We will not be back.

Baby Jo’s Restaurant - Appling

Rating: 4.7 /5
Stacy Mishka Camped down the street last week so my sister and I saw the restaurant and decided to try it. We were completely blown away at the dinner we had. So delicious! We had ribs..salad..sweet potato casserole..mac & cheese..and baked beans..and topped it off with snickers cake (something like that) and vanilla ice cream. Hands down 1 of the best meals we ever had. Do not make the mistake of passing this gem of a place up. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful experience.

rashmitha smiles I had a wonderful time at Kani House. The chefs were lively and made the hibachi experience really fun. My kids loved it. The chicken, fish was fresh and flavorful, and the portions were generous. Love their Fried rice with egg. They gave Salad and soup in lunch with Entree. The staff was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, a good spot for both dinner and celebrations.
