3 /5 Evan Stoler: It just was an odd experience that did not live up to the hype. We ordered 5 things and the first 3 things - soup, salad, squash dish all just had too much heavy, fermented, acidic, sour flavors that really kind of shot our taste buds. They need like complementary bread of some sort or rice or something to cut through the intense flavors, at least one of the dishes had orange in it to brighten it up. The chicken was solid and more balanced and the cocktail was great in addition to the attentive service. But the decor was very haphazard and the wait staff could be dressed nicer so for a finer dining experience it seemed kind of like an identity crisis was happening. At least only use plates that have the comic strip intact and not smudged off.

5 /5 Kaylin Ebener: Little Bear was a fun and creative dining experience! We ordered one portion of the Prix Fixe menu and the crispy trout and shish taouk. My standouts were the crispy trout, tas kebab, and the persimmon flavored frozen yogurt. It makes sense why this place was given a Bib Gourmand award!

5 /5 Sonia Matos: The XL meat option was AMAZING! Fried pork belly with sweet potatoes and salad. It was such a great combo of comfort food yet stylish looking and idk what vinaigrette the salad had but it was so light and yummy. We were hoping to meet Diego, the new owners doggie but maybe he doesnt make appearances? We forgot to ask. It was nice to see so much art about the doggies throughout the restaurant, and the doggie soap dispenser in the bathroom was the cherry on top. We came here on a Sunday night so parking wasnt too difficult. Drinks were excellent as well!

5 /5 Simon Shih: This was one of the best meals of the year. We are industry people and eat out once a month at nice restaurants to see what Atlanta has to offer. I feel we know the industry since we are the beverage director, the GM, the head chef and bar manager at Delbar Buckhead. This meal exceeded expectations in every way. First the service. We got checked in and one of the hosts were on the phone and I really liked her tone and playfulness dealing with the guest. She was pleasant and it felt like she really liked her job. The server (Sam) was also very nice and friendly and told us some of her favorite dishes. She took our cocktail orders right away. At some point they changed servers and she was just as pleasant and friendly as our original server. My first cocktail was the Boston Cooler which I enjoyed. The rest of my group ordered sparkling wine and other cocktails, but they were not my cup of tea. I switched to the Magic Word which ended up being delicious and I stuck with it for the rest of my visit. We literally ordered every dish on the menu and went back for seconds on the trout and chicory salad dish, but the stand out dishes were the chicken liver custard and the pork belly. I could literally drink whisky and eat the chicken liver custard all night. The flavors were bold, with a little spiciness, sour, sweet and savory. It worked and there was no dish that we wouldnt have again. Dessert was the Benne Pudding and Mochi Cake. The pudding was my favorite of the two. Our chef even asked how the Fattoush was prepared and what a black oyster caesar was. Let the chef know that we look forward to him coming to Delbar Buckhead and giving him as great an experience as we got at Little Bear.

From the moment we walked in, the vibe felt creative and welcoming, with an open kitchen and playful energy that sets it apart from typical dining spots. The menu is full of inventive small plates that change with the seasons, so every dish feels fresh and exciting — and the wine and cocktail list was equally thoughtful. The flavors were bold and beautifully balanced, and while the portions lean small‑plate style, it made the whole meal feel like a fun, shared experience with friends. The service was friendly and attentive, and the whole night felt like something special — I can’t wait to go back and try even more of what they’re offering!
