Locals Dockside - (Near St Marys, GA)

5 /5 Kenneth Davis: All of the locals recommended this place, so we had to check it out. Now, I can see why. Four of us went here for dinner last night. Two of us ordered the all you can eat shrimp platter, I got the Fried Oysters platter and our landlubber friend had Fettuccine Alfredo. We all enjoyed our dishes. Cooked to perfection. Oh, on the all you can eat shrimp platter, the ladies did not order a second round. Service was fast and the food was fresh. Our server Roe made sure all of our needs were taken care of. In short we enjoyed our meal. My one complaint or suggestion would be to consider some noise abatements measures. It was so loud that we had to shout to hear each other. It was really crazy loud.

5 /5 Karla Paxton: The scallops, mussels, shrimp, ahi Tuna, dungeness crab and catch of the day all were delicious and cooked perfectly. If I had to pick a favorite Id say the dungeness crab! Alex, the bartender is attentive, friendly and exudes southern hospitality. And the sunset views were spectacular!! We loved it so much went back the next night.

5 /5 S. R.: We had a lovely lunch at locals while we were visiting during Christmas/new years. The food was fresh, delicious and great portions. Our server really did go above and beyond for us. I got the blood orange margaritas (2). My partner got beer (2). Our server even offered her an ice bucket to keep it cold. We shared the seared ahi tuna appetizer. It was cooked perfectly. For lunch I got the pick 2 seafood platter. I got the fried fish and grilled scallops with macaroni and cheese and asparagus. The scallops were nice and big sea scallops. There were 5 of them I believe. The fish was a nice filet. It was more than enough food. The mac and cheese was perfect. The asparagus was cooked just right. My partner got the crab cake sandwich with a salad. She really enjoyed all of it. We were able to snag a table outside. It was a beautiful day to enjoy our lunch looking out at the river. I was really surprised and impressed with our whole visit. I hope that this stays consistent. Its nice to have an excellent seafood restaurant to visit when were in town. I know there are other seafood restaurants but the quality, cleanliness, and service of this place was top notch. Cant wait to visit again.

5 /5 Brice Moak: When I travel for work I usually try to find smaller local places that I cant get at home. I drove to Georgia just to have dinner here, and it was 100% worth the drive from Florida while I was there for work. I had the filet mignon with scallops, hush puppies, and the local slaw, and everything was fantastic. The scallops were blackened just as I wanted them, and they were extra plump and juicy. The medium rare steak was perfect and had a very distinct but very good taste to it that Ive not had anywhere else. The local slaw had a very fresh taste and the hush puppies were some of the best Ive had and sweet butter sauce that came with it, not sure what it was, but it was game changing for hush puppies from now on! After eating I walked along the dock and got some early beautiful pictures, it was dark, but the lighting in the atmosphere is perfect.

5 /5 Stephanie Adams: We had the seared Tuna Ahi and the Cajun Bayou Tacos (shrimp). Both were excellent. Both were cooked perfectly and delicious. The tacos needed a taco stand to prevent the shells from getting run off on outside of the shells. We saw other orders going out and they all look wonderful.
