Medis Mediterranean Fusion Restaurant - (Near Macon, GA)

Sallie Duffy We were a party of 2 on a Sunday (late) morning. Wait was only around 20 minutes. I ordered country fried steak with mashed potatoes and spinach. The spinach was cooked perfectly! (Not over cooked). Service was excellent! (My receipt says Maria was my server). The only annoying thing... was they did the loud "Birthday Clapping song" 3x during our meal, to various tables. It certainly was very disruptive. Everything else was great!

Christopher Scoma, DC, NMT Los Reyes – Athens, GA What a wonderful surprise! The atmosphere was fun, colorful, and full of good energy. The staff was friendly, attentive, and truly made me feel welcome. I ordered the freshly made chunky guacamole, prepared exactly how I like it, and it was outstanding. The shrimp and octopus ceviche was tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented, easily one of the best I’ve ever had. To top it all off, my Long Island Iced Tea was mixed to perfection. You can see from the photo how beautifully everything arrived, fresh, vibrant, and made with care. A true gem here in Athens!

Debbie Williams I had a special request for extra crispy, extra drained whole catfish and great sweat tea for my 88 year old mom and they came through with flying colors. I had the catfish fillet and shrimp platter. The fillets were huge and cooked to perfection. The batter on the shrimp was perfectly seasoned and crunchy. We will definitely be back.

Robert Ramsey Thoroughly enjoyed the meal. We were just driving by and wanted something local. It was cafeteria style so you got your food, paid and sat where you wanted. I had the country fried steak, mashed potatoes and greens. Potatoes and steak were covered in country gravy. Charlie had fried chicken, potatoes, green beans, a biscuit and a peach cobbler. Both meals were delicious. My greens were tender with a bit of a salty that was just right. The steak and potatoes were very good. Charlie said the fried chicken was such that the breading did not overwhelm the taste of the chicken. The peach cobbler was great. The serving staff and checkout person were very nice too. Definitely would come back again.

Chet Lunden We ate lunch here today (10/03/25), and it was deeeeelicious! I had a smash burger that required four napkins, it was so good and juicy. I had it all the way--the lettuce and tomatoe were fresh as they could be, and the whole thing (burger and fries) came out piping hot, and looking just like the picture on the menu. My husband had a big ole plate of breakfast which he devoured happily. The sweet tea is always a highlight. Our server was just as good as the food. She was friendly, accurate, attentive, and we traded stories about our puppies and birds. Prices seemed to have gone up a bit in the past couple of months, but the food and service were top notch. Thanks, ladies. Great job!

Old Man Overland Asked a local and got this recommended spot….. a+++ Excellent service and great Mexican food at a great price!!!!! Interesting menu with some non-mexican items. Who orders a cheeseburger at a mexican joint? Apparently, according to our server, it is a local fav!!!!
