5 /5 Chris Jones: Oak & Olive has instantly become one of my favorite spots in Valdosta. From the moment you walk in, you can tell this place was created with intention, passion, and a commitment to excellence. The atmosphere is warm, elevated, and perfectly suited for a night out—whether you’re grabbing cocktails with friends or enjoying a full dinner.
The food is phenomenal. The shrimp arrabiata and tenderloin were absolute standouts, cooked to perfection and full of flavor. And the halloumi? Next-level good. You can really taste the quality and care that goes into every dish.
The bar program deserves just as much praise. The espresso martini is top-tier, and the Old Fashioned might be the best in town—smooth, balanced, and crafted with obvious skill.
Most importantly, I’m incredibly proud of the owners for bringing something this special to downtown Valdosta. Oak & Olive fills a much-needed niche and elevates the entire dining scene. Valdosta is lucky to have it.
If you haven’t been yet, go. You’ll be blown away.
