Old Tyme Grill & Buffet - (Near Jonesboro, GA)

2 /5 ENicka Hamilton: I hadn’t been here in a few months but the food was not good. The macaroni and cheese was mushy it had too much cheese soft noodles and no taste it was bland. The cabbage was sautéed but had no taste it was missing the onion and bell pepper flavor the bourbon chicken taste charred the greens were ok they were made with Turkey legs but that wasn’t enough it needed more seasoning the yams are out the can nothing added to them I wanted a soul food meal on a Sunday this definitely was not it! The waitress was nice and polite very attentive and the price was normal but overall not worth the price.

4 /5 O: Just got a take out order for Thanksgiving and the dressing, mac and cheese, and black eyed pease are HORRIBLE!!! First off stop calling Stuffing dressing because they are Not the same whoever the cook is just made a big pan of stuffing and it was nasty. True dressing or cornbread dressing has a different taste. The mac and cheese had no seasoning and it was like they used the powered cheese and thats it. The black eyed peas was definitely from the can but at least season them. The only thing that was good was the Turkey and the collard greens. For what I paid for this meal I will be giving this to some homeless people vs the trash. Im pissed and disgusted and for this place to have a 4.3 that must be for the other buffet items cause this meal wasnt it!!!!!! Update: The manager did address and accommodated my concerns. He offered me another choice of food. I chose some seafood and desert that tasted very good!!! He was very courteous and respectful. He provided me with EXCELLENT customer service and I will return again!!! Great overall atmosphere and staff.

5 /5 Steve Daniel: Great Southern Food! Excellent Service! This was a great experience for our group of approximately 80 adults. The manager (Prem) and staff (Ms. Bridgette and Ms. Jaleesa) were the best. The food was excellent. We had a great time! I highly recommend this place for any occasion.

2 /5 Corliss Walker: Food isnt that good. More pork than anything. No steaks. The food lacks flavor. I only enjoyed the Chinese food. I miss Golden Corral that used to be right there. The restaurant looks exactly the same. I would say go try it and give your own review. Majority of my food went in the trash, sadly. Drink tasted more like carbonated water and fries tasted like they were cooked in old cooking oil. I literally spit out the carrot cake. The dinner rolls were hard and dense. Everything needed help. Great customer service.
