3 /5 Meli Mel: After hearing a lot of hype, so my expectations were pretty high. I ordered the blackened salmon, which was ok. The fried green tomatoes were the bomb, just a little on the thicker side, but still really enjoyable.
Unfortunately, the mashed potatoes came out cold, which was disappointing. I had the bread pudding, but the sauce tasted like it had been sitting in the fridge, which was a big letdown. I was honestly disappointed.
We went as a group of 12 people, and no one was impressed. Some of us were from Atlanta and others from Chicago, so it wasn’t just an out-of-town perspective. That said, the customer service was nice and attentive, which I appreciated.
Overall, the experience was just okay and didn’t live up to the hype. The art was beautiful, though. I wouldn’t go back.
