Sandy Sandmeyer Edit: Made it back for the second time for dinner with my parents. Mom had pulled pork, dad and hubby has the 4 rib meal, and I had the pulled pork sandwich again. It was so good! Have the honey hot BBQ sauce. Its delicious! Weve been meaning to stop by Papaws and we got to meet Don and chat with him about his food. We returned layer that afternoon and picked up 4 ribs and a pulled pork sandwich. The apple pie was recommended to us so we got a couple of slices as well. Both the ribs and pulled pork were delicious. The pork had no fat in it and I really appreciated that. I loved the hot honey BBQ sauce and my husband liked the Carolina mustard BBQ sauce. The apple pie filling was really good but the crust was way too thick and almost bread-y and we wouldnt get it again. All-in-all, wed return for the meat again.

Jolie M. I’ll be completely honest, did I complain (to myself) about the wait time? Yes (20-25 minutes) and only 3 cars in line. Do I keep ordering food here? YES! Why? Because they’re always on point, foods fresh and exactly the way I ordered it. Once we make it to the intercom to order, they make it up to me: staff is always polite. Now, I understand that they’re short staffed, and new- both make it harder. Now, if you’re not in a hurry for great food, yes I recommend. If you’re trying to feed a family of 7 (guilty every time) then either be patient, or go somewhere else. I have never had a problem, and I know I’ll be back. To the young man who took my order today (mobile), and brought it out to me, pretty sure he also cooked it.. you deserve a raise and real help, he went above and beyond to get it all right and still walked out with a smile on his face. Thank you!!

Ursulla Leech Peach cobbler was amazing!!! It reminds you of grandma’s recipe. The cinnamon & sugar hit just right!

From the moment we arrived to the time we left, everything was top-tier. Our server Mike was completely on point and delivered exceptional, attentive service throughout the night. Brittany, the GM, stopped by and showed genuine hospitality that made us feel truly welcomed, and Shauna was just as warm and professional. You can tell this team takes pride in what they do. The drinks were delicious, the food was outstanding, and even the dessert was a hit. Every detail was right. Add in the beautiful ambiance, and it made for a perfect birthday celebration. We left with nothing but smiles and great memories. Highly recommend Perry’s Chop House for special occasions—or honestly, any night you want an amazing dining experience.
