Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - (Near Hartwell, GA)

1 /5 Hill Ryley (Tea): Me and my friend wanted to try this location for the first time, we tried the Freddy Fazbear box. The food was really dissapointing. There was almost no seasoning on the chicken, the cheese bites were all mashed up and disgusting, and don’t get me started on the cupcake. To be fair, I don’t think the cupcake is anyone’s fault, its just not good lol… Most people working there didn’t seem rude or anything, perhaps a little dismissive. We didn’t get a reciept, although the person at the speaker was really rude. They seemed annoyed to take our order and every question was answered with “no, what else”… now look I’ve worked in fast food so I get it but at a certain point when i feel like I’m doing something wrong by wanting to eat somewhere you can’t really excuse that. I can’t speak on the atmosphere because I went through the drive thru, but overall i wouldn’t say this is somewhere you should NEVER go back to, I just won’t be back.

1 /5 Ben G: Ordered a ghost pepper chicken sandwich with bacon and cheese. Open it up *Surprise!!* No bacon or cheese and hardly any sauce. Even had a sticker on it that says bacon and cheese. There is a reason Chic fil A is #1.

1 /5 Craig Patterson: Whoever was working the drive thru at 9:00 PM on 11/22/25 needs a serious attitude adjustment. She was completely rude and yelled the questions at me, and let out loud exhales every time I answered. She was so rude that I eventually told her never mind and left. I now see why there are never any cars in the drive thru.

You can tell pieces of chicken have been sitting for a while. Hard and tough and dry. Good job. Im surprised they even hired people with your work ethic. Ill be back soon and will let you when when I come back. Edited: Wow. Ive just read all the reviews lol I received small pieces of chicken thighs too like how people are saying in their review. They are cutting the chicken before frying and then eating the peices they cut off. I got to the Popeyes in Athens all the time and never an issue. I feel sorry for this place and its owners because the people who work here wont go far in life. They wont make your business successful. Keep going and soon youll be closed down like the other restaurants down the road from you.

1 /5 Loisann Smith: Had to give a star just to post this. First time I went to this location I waited 5 min at the drive thru, nobody would respond. 6 months later, thought I would give this location another try. Again, waited over 5 min, even tried to get their attention, still no response. Sadly I will never give this business any more of my business. How is this company still in business???
