Portions are large, plan to share or take a box home. The elote was especially good. Wish we had room to try the deserts, will have to go back!

Say! Love coming here. The owner is there every single day (good man), the staff are all kind and personable, the establishment is clean (with extra emphasis) and it has our old down country feel. Prices are VERY reasonable but the quality of food far surpasses the price. Also, for ground pot coffee, theirs is spectacular. Our family is definitely team JCs! From 6 to 44! Update 9/16/25: My husband is now addicted to JCs. We love coming here. Youre greeted and treated like family. They actually recognize you, know your typical order, nd hold a conversation with you. Good people doing good things and giving good service. Pictures included this time, because I actually remembered to take them. ** I personally recommend the breakfast burrito. They do NOT skimp. You get more than what you pay for. I do a bacon and sausage combo breakfast burrito. Also highly recommend their strawberry waffles. My hubby LOVES their chicken fried steak with gravy. Its that good gravy too.

They have a variety of soul food choices: baked, fried, and grilled chicken; ox tails, neck bones; pigs feet; collards, cabbage, mac and cheese, rice sweet potatoe souffle, black eyed peas, and so much more!!! You gotta try if youre in the neighborhood.

Stacey Green Great pizza! Staff is calm and very nice. We got an extra pizza I didnt realized I ordered but its good. Ive become addicted to their pizza. Hardly an grease on the pizza. Chicken wings are the best. If you want really good pizza go to Papas, you wont regret it!

Carolyn O The place is very small and off the beaten track but if you like good southern home cooking it is well worth the visit. It is only open limited days. The hostess prepares your plate (to go style) large portion. They have the best homemade pound cake Ive put in my mouth since my Mother stopped baking.

Not Available Look, the only problem i have with this location is THEY DONT SERVE BREAKFAST ALL DAY! Anytime im able to get out early enough, I have breakfast here. Its delicious, great deal, personable service. Theres a reason theyre always busy during the mornings. Hardees, listen. Its obvious breakfast is your money maker. Just serve breakfast all day and, maybe, youll stay busy all day. Maybe the mornings will be less crowded and stressful and business will be dispersed more evenly throughout the day. Maybe Ill have a gravy biscuit for breakfast and a steak biscuit for dinner on the way back home! Come on, folks. Im serious.
