River & Roost -Food CA (Near McDonough)

S C I wont trash this business with a 3 or 4 star overall rating but i want to point out a few things. Someone in another review pointed out it seems odd to name a place a steakhouse and have only one steak (ribeye). My food came out quickly and the server was very nice. The lady at the hostess stand didnt seem rude but she didnt have much spark. Someone else gave them a really bad review based mostly on the hostess. Its not possible for me to know if it was the same one but I have a feeling it might have been. She wasnt very personable and didnt give off a very welcoming vibe. The grilled buffalo shrimp were cooked perfectly as was the fried shrimp I ordered along with my ribeye. The steak seemed to be of poor quality. It was tough and had a large section of gristle that I think should have been trimmed off. I would recommend anything seafood from this place but wouldnt suggest the steak.

Rachelthatgagirl I eat here alot, my cousin works here and loves her job. Very cute atmosphere with other homemade items you can buy also. The doughnuts are out of this world and all pecan items are a must try. They are always friendly and lovely staff. It is more pricey but a healthier choice thats fresh so its worth it.

Samantha Fulton Amazing! This is the second time my mom and I enjoyed an evening here. Cindy our waitress, we have had the pleasure of having her both visits. She is sure to please,any questions; drink recommendations, oyster break downs. Very informative. Very personable, we love her. The atmosphere is inviting and unique. The oysters are a must have, followed by a drink (lemon drop martini) my moms new favorite , the main course delish (I had the pork chop and mom had the chicken) and to top it off with their famous bread pudding. I highly recommend!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Alexia Johnson My husband and I have gone to Park82 3 times. The 3rd time was for my birthday and I couldn’t have chosen a better place to have my birthday dinner to celebrate with family. All of my family were content with the food, and I have some very picky eaters in my family lol. No one had a negative thing to say. When I describing the restaurant and food to them, I told them they couldn’t go wrong with anything they order. There is not a single appetizer or entree that I have tried that was not delicious. The hostess, manager, and waiter were great. I informed the hostess that we will come in after taking a family photo and she volunteered to take the photo for us. The hostess opened the door as we were coming in due to us having a family member who uses a walker. Upon leaving, the manager thanked us for coming. Also, I received a complimentary slice of cheesecake for my bday. The ambiance was tranquil and relaxing. 10/10 recommend.

Lynn Vicki I mean, who doesnt just want to pull up, dock the boat, go inside, and enjoy some lunch? How much fun is that? A lot! And it doesnt hurt that the food and service is amazing. Jada(?) took amazing care of us today. Shes a little sweetheart and very good at her job.
