Michael Smith Today, I decided to stop at one of my favorite little spots in Conyers, Cafe Milano. I ordered the house salad, stuffed mushroom caps, and Chicken Rene. The food is always excellent and always tastes much more expensive than it actually costs. The house salad is the best Ive had in Georgia or NYC, or New Jersey, and thats saying something. The stuffed mushrooms were ok, but it ate more like dressing,and I couldnt find any sausage. They were cooked well, but in at least 8 visits, that was the only item that was ever average. The Chicken Rene was excellent, despite not being a fresh cutlet, with a rich sauce that you could eat with anything. However, the star of the meal was Morgans exceptional service. She was kind, polite, attentive but not clingy. There was a delay with the vreadz so she provided me with options regarding the sequence of my meal. Nothing extraordinary, but seemless and very intentional. During my appetizer, I inhaled a speck of bread. She asked if I was ok, responded with water and a stack of napkins. The young lady working the tables with her, was very attentive of her table as well. The food is always good at Cafe Milano, but today Morgan was the highlight. Most businesses treat all servers as interchangeable and replaceable, as a former manager with a staff of 127 people, be sure you take care of this team member, as she is invaluable.

Bill Hosking We stopped for lunch and had never been here before. We were very impressed with the food, the service, the hospitality etc. Service was excellent, multiple people would check on you to make sure that you had what you needed. When we got there the place was packed and the parking lot full, we were seated and waited on with a quickness. Placed our drink orders and received a good liquor drink. Our food was excellent and plentiful. If in the area I would strongly suggest that you stop at this restaurant.

Shannon Phillips Food was great. Lots to choose from. Service was wonderful. It cost more than I thought it was supposed to because most are saying it was $10-$20 per person and for the two of us to eat the lunch buffet it cost $49.

Kenneth Davis Thompsons Cove was established in 1986. It has been a long time since we last visited this restaurant, and after coming back Im wondering why it took us so long. Everything was excellent. I ordered the seafood platter which consisted of fish, oysters, shrimp, scallops, devil crab with hushpuppies and two sides. My wife ordered catfish fillet. It was all so good. The service! Let me tell you about the staff. They make darn sure that you are being taken care of. We were frequently asked by numerous staff members if we had everything we needed. Service couldnt have been better. A large pitcher of water or tea was placed on the table along with a bucket of ice. For someone like me that frequently empties my glass this was heavenly. The view of the lake while you are dining is something else. It is beautiful. It is well worth the trip out to this restaurant to dine. I can promise you this. I will be back soon.

Kaylee Rollins Mama Gs is hands down probably the best Italian place Ive been to. The food was absolutely amazing packed full of flavor and freshness. I have nothing but praise and love for this place. It is a little on the expensive side but worth it. I will definitely be back anytime I am near Clayton, GA again!
