5 /5 Annette Allen: Yall this restaurant is amazing. Im from KC and Id consider myself a bit of a BBQ expert ... let me just say WOW! Everything was great! So tasty! Definitely recommend the brisket! PS the portions are huge! We didnt have to wait to be seated but it was a full house tonight. The staff was friendly and attentive. Well probably stop back in again before we leave town!

5 /5 S Patricia: We visited on a Saturday night in September and were seated immediately. All of the waitresses were extremely nice. Our waitress Emily was awesome! I tried a platter that included ribs, brisket, pulled pork, fried okra, macaroni and cheese and baked beans with Texas toast and a sweet tea. There was not a single bad thing I put in my mouth. I absolutely fell in love with their Carolina gold barbecue sauce. Emily was sweet enough to give us two bags with each of their three kinds of barbecue sauce in the bags to take with our leftovers. My mom had a half size salad with pulled pork on top, homemade croutons and homemade ranch dressing. It was also very good! The prices were phenomenal and I had enough leftovers for two more meals. This is a gem of a restaurant in downtown Trenton. I highly recommend Thatcher’s BBQ and we will be back next time we are on vacation in the area.

5 /5 Nick: Do not miss this place if you’re anywhere near Cloudland Canyon or Trenton. Amazing BBQ, super friendly staff, and conveniently located. You can’t go wrong with anything you pick. We started with some nachos that were perfectly dressed, finished with some ribs, and took a sandwich for later. Absolutely delicious!

5 /5 Marc Lee: We were in town for my wifes birthday at the KOA. During my search of restaurants in Trenton, we decided on Thatchers BBQ and Grille. It was a great choice. We ordered the "Smoke - A - Holic Platter", which included samples of smoked chicken, pulled pork, spicy smoke sausage, brisket, ribs, and your choice of three sides. We had slaw, fries, fried pickles, and baked beans. All the meats were flavorful, moist, and tender. The sides were great as well. The three sauces are so good, I bought a quart of each one. They have some awesome new menu items. So, I had to taste the " Smokin Pastrami on Pumpernickel with gouda". Yummy! I highly recommend Thatchers. Thanks Josh for your professionalism and knowledge of the menu.

5 /5 molli register: We stopped here totally randomly on our drive from Birmingham to Chattanooga and WOW—what an unexpected gem! We started with the brisket bites and they were incredible. Loved the pickles and the white sauce with it! My husband got the 1/2 rack with mac & cheese (easily a 12/10!) and creamed corn. The creamed corn was packed with flavor—not bland like some places. I had the Smokin’ Reuben and it was perfection. The smoked flavor was spot on and the house-made Thousand Island was fantastic. We ended with the Oreo pudding which was the perfect balance of chocolate and vanilla. Highly recommend! We’ll definitely be back. Our server Josh was great also!
