What really stood out was how effortlessly he balanced professionalism with warmth, making us feel genuinely welcome and cared for. Kelly’s attention to detail and upbeat attitude created a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. You can tell he takes pride in what he does, and it shows. Warda Shafi I had such a memorable dinner at Little Bear in Summerhill! From the moment we walked in, the vibe felt creative and welcoming, with an open kitchen and playful energy that sets it apart from typical dining spots. The menu is full of inventive small plates that change with the seasons, so every dish feels fresh and exciting — and the wine and cocktail list was equally thoughtful. The flavors were bold and beautifully balanced, and while the portions lean small‑plate style, it made the whole meal feel like a fun, shared experience with friends. The service was friendly and attentive, and the whole night felt like something special — I can’t wait to go back and try even more of what they’re offering!

Alyssa Shazel Fast seating and food was amazing. Kapri was an amazing server, we did have to call for her she came and checked on us and asked were we okay with a smile. The manager Derrick went over and beyond with service and I can see why he has a great staff . He came to our table to check on us even though he knew our server was doing great . It went to pouring down and me and my step mom had no umbrella and I had to be to work. He took the time to grab an umbrella and walk us one by one to the truck. Me being in management myself he showed true customer service and support. Great job Derrick and Kapri

David M We are here again. It definitely didnt disappoint. I did err sitting on sidewalk cause it got coil but that was on me. I have seen a few reviews complaining of slow service. My server was very attentive. It did take a bit of time for the food to arrive but yall I didnt cone to a fast food joint. I enjoyed my time yaking with folks around me. My server seen to me. I enjoyed my experience. Some folks just need to slow down and enjoy time.

Pete Wardlaw Enjoyed sushi for the first time in Lake Country. A solid menu and great tasting sushi at a reasonable price. Had a slight service hiccup, but with a little notice to the staff to make them aware we had not been waited on they promptly rectified the situation and multiple servers checked on us throughout the meal. Will definitely return the next time we’re in the mood for sushi.

Judy Lewis My son and I were in Statesboro for a doctors appt and decided to visit Ocean Galley for lunch. It was our first time at the restaurant and had no idea what to expect. We were a little nervous but our apprehension was unwarranted. We were both truly impressed, not only with the menu and food but also with the welcoming atmosphere and service. We were seated immediately and our order was taken quickly. Our food was served promptly, just as ordered, at the perfect temperature, and was absolutely delicious. I was also impressed with the variety on the menu as well as the many options from which you could choose. My food was fried but my son chose one of the grilled options. Both orders were visually appealing and perfectly prepared, including the onion petals and fried green tomato appetizers, which I LOVED! We all know fried onion petals and tomatoes can sometimes be soggy and greasy if not prepared properly, but these were some of the best Ive ever tasted. Our waitress was attentive and kept our glasses filled throughout our meal. Thank you for the wonderful meal, Ocean Galley, and well definitely be returning!
