Lysha S We were driving through Dawson and decided to stop at Mama Rita’s Mexican Kitchen, and I’m so glad we did. The street tacos, Birria tacos, and Puebla tacos were all incredible. Fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with real care. Even the salsa stood out, bright and full of flavor. For a place we found by chance, the whole experience felt like a win. The service was friendly and welcoming, the kind of hospitality that makes you feel at home even when you’re not local. If you’re passing through Dawson and want genuinely great Mexican food, Mama Rita’s is absolutely worth the stop.

Mike Bergin Stopped in for lunch at Sol Tacos & Tequila and glad we did. First impression: the place has a great vibe—colorful, warm, and inviting with a cool blend of modern and traditional décor. Chips and salsa came out quick and were fresh with just enough kick to get your attention. We ordered off the lunch menu and the portions were no joke—plenty of food. I highly recommend the grilled chicken chimichanga: crisp on the outside, packed with flavor inside, and came with a generous side of rice and beans that didn’t feel like filler. The fajita plate was solid too—chicken well-seasoned, veggies still had bite. Service was friendly and efficient, even during the busy rush. Prices were fair for the size and quality of the meal. If you’re in the area, this is worth a stop. Great for a casual bite with excellent food and atmosphere to match.

MarilN McG Relaxed casual atmosphere. Delicious country cooking. Fried chicken was perfect, baked chicken, meatloaf and several other meats. Mac n cheese, beans, rice, dressing, gravy and more! Desserts Today: bread pudding, peach cobbler, chocolate surprise and peanut butter cream cake

Amy Harder My husband and I often visit Frank’s at the Old Mill for date night because FRANKly nothing beats the food or the service. The past two times we’ve had Rida as our waiter and he is phenomenal! My go to is always the chicken parm because they make it better than anywhere else I’ve ever had it. During our visit last night, my husband got the lamb chops which was the special and was very pleased! Everything is always top notch from the ambiance to the food to the service.’of course we had to get dessert to go! It was the first time we tried Key Lime cheesecake and it was devine. Already can’t wait for our next date night!

Ev Tripolitis IMMACULATE vibes. Fun and edgy. Loud and energetic. Top tier greasy vegan food, top tier sauces. No gluten free bun, but still great with a FORK. Fun vegan swag (shirts hats etc) One just opened in my hometown and I’m so excited.

Yanis Fernandes The wings are delicious here as well as the prices on beer. It is a nice ambiance with all the dollar notes spread out on the wall. Our service did rush the invoice before we were done with food and drinks. It might have been an off night for the waitress, but it was still 30 minutes to close. We nonetheless ordered additional items before checking out.
