I called to place an order for pickup, what I expected to be around $60-70. To be fair the lady taking my order on the phone did tell me my total, but it cut out a bit so I didnt hear her clearly. Assuming it was around what I thought, I got to the restaurant and was greeted with a $110 total.
The young man at the front was very polite, I have 0 issues with the staff there. They were very helpful. When I looked at my receipt, the unagi and sake nigiri I had ordered was double the price than listed online. $5 for one piece of eel? What? The hibachi plate which was 17.95 online was suddenly 23.95. And my miso soup has.. rotini pasta instead of tofu? What?
I understand in this economy needing to raise prices, this place had been my go-to for good quality sushi at a reasonable price. But the quality has gone down, and the prices have gone up. I wont be back sadly. PLEASE UPDATE YOUR PRICING ONLINE! I feel duped and sad.
Updated to show a picture, yall want to charge $4.50 for the tiniest piece of nigiri I have EVER seen. I feel scammed.
