Wayback Burgers - (Near Covington, GA)

Justine Janzen I was disappointed with their salsa. It didnt fell authentic - it was mostly just a paste base without any of the fresh veggies you would normally have for the added texture and taste. I will say the cheese dip was exceptional! Their homemade chips were delicious. I got my order to go, but the atmosphere seemed warm and welcoming. The manager was friendly, and even though I was only placing a to go order, he made it feel as though I was there to sit and eat. I will go out on a limb and say I imagine their table service is very good. The prices are a bit high, but portions are large, and everything tasted like it was made with fresh ingredients. Food was hot and made to order, but I didnt find it anything to rave about after the chips and dip. I went back several days later wanting an order of Sopapillas and was soo prego lady disappointed they dont offer them. Im from NC, but I assumed all Mexican restaurants served them as a staple desert. The restaurant is nice inside, and the menu is extensive - almost overwhelming with soo many choices. All and all, Im not sure theyre the top choice for Mexican food in Alma, GA.

Anna-Grace Strealy My experience was awesome, thanks to our server Lexy (I think that was her name? With the blonde hair and glasses!). She was super attentive and was very knowledgeable about the menu. Kept our drinks filled and had great customer service. Keep her around! Hard worker.

mk Dropped in for a casual small southern style lunch. It’s a dinner style of place. We were NOT disappointed:) Hoi took great care of us. My Ceasar salad w/Fried Chicken was delicious. Definitely worth dropping in.

Larry Ballard Nice casual atmosphere diner , friendly folks and great food . Seems to be a local favorite , as the dining room was full when we came in . Downtown Toccoa is beautiful , and shaded and a really cool place and the grill was a nice place to eat . The food was tasty and the server great. Prices weren’t bad either . Restaurant opens onto an antique mall that is worth checking out . Recommended .

Andrew Lundstrom If these squealers could talk they would say, “This is the best damn stick in town - reminds me of the famous Piggie Stix, only better!” Quick service and good food. Great for dine in or takeout.

Marlisa Smith We had the MOST AMAZING server, Andres!!! The food was good, the drinks were great! The atmosphere amazing!! We arent locals but will definitely go here again when visiting our family in town..... Thank you Andres and all the staff for good food and a great experience!!
