1 /5 Julie Sprouse: DO NOT RECOMMEND ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!! So my wife and I tried this place and when I tell you we have been so excited to try it but we were so wrong, staff absolutely ignores anyone who’s not drinking alcohol! Food was burnt absolutely disgusting and cold! Then the staff got an attitude when we asked for the tenders to be removed from the bill because they were burnt and super hard I wish I would have took a picture but they took it back and said that we still had to pay for it while being absolutely disgusting towards us! The dark hair girl had the worst attitude ever! Needless to say that we didn’t pay for the tenders but then they over charged us! Our bill was $20.52 and they charged us $24.52! Overall I DO NOT recommend! STAFF IS RUDE AND FOOD IS DISGUSTING! Ruined my wife’s birthday dinner! We left so mad! I almost called the police!

4 /5 David: OK, look this bar, from the outside and some of the clientele can give you dive bar vibes. But if you give a place a chance, the food is really good. I had the salmon and it was perfect. The staff seems to be a little slower and not attentive however, if you really look into around, the bartenders are talking with locals even the chefs are coming out and seeing locals and giving them hugs. This is a locals bar and you have to respect that. But if you come in, you’re going to get good food, good drinks and a warm welcome from the staff. The open minded and give them a shot.

3 /5 skye kelley: Visited:: 01Aug25. My girlfriend and I came here for dinner. The atmosphere was good when people started to show up. Its big and spacious has a pool table, darts and some game that reminds me of beer pong. Music was all country which we enjoyed! They do have weekly specials and also events throughout the week. Our server was good. She was nice and friendly. We ended up ordering 3 different entrees. A smash burger which was our first time ever eating one. I guess its supposed to be a smashed patty but wasnt really that at all. Lacked flavor which was a bummer because thats another highlight of a smash burger. Entree number 2 was the river dawg. It was definitely not what we expected. Wasnt even that good lacked flavor however the hoagie roll was soft and delicious. Last but not least we ordered the yard bird. It was pry the most flavorful thing out of everything. The edge of it was raw but they did end up taking the whole sandwich off the bill. The fries were delicious according to my girlfriend top 5 I didnt eat any so I took her word. Fried pickles were in point the breading wasnt too much or too little werent salty and the ranch that was served with it was good too wasnt watery. Macaroni and cheese tasted like it was straight out of the stouffers box disappointing. Onion rings were a little crunchy and overdone. All together the food overall was maybe a 5 out of 10. Going to come back to try their wings we love wings.

5 /5 Dylan Clayton: This place has quickly become my absolute go-to spot in Valdosta! I stop in pretty much every day after work for a cold beer, to unwind, and chat with the regulars. Its the perfect place to really get a feel for the town of Valdosta and meet some great locals. Shoutout to the bartender Tawny and server Brayle—theyre both amazing! Super friendly, attentive, and always make you feel right at home. The food is seriously top-notch. Ive tried the smash burger which was juicy and perfectly cooked with an overload of toppings, the burger steak, and the God, Grits, And Glory. Every single one was delicious with huge portions that leave you stuffed. You definitely wont be disappointed if youre hungry! Great vibes, solid drinks, and awesome staff. Highly recommend, no other bar compares to this one!

5 /5 Greg Kimball: I recently visited Whiskey River Bad at 1703 Gornto Rd, in Valdosta, GA. I had a real nice experience go to this place for my first place. I sat at the bar and was promptly greeted and my drink order taken. It was taco Tuesday and I placed an order for a few tacos. I also got a side of Mac. The food was real good. And good bartender conversation. A nice place.
