Big Boy Restaurant & Bakery - (Near Danville, IL)

Theresa Orvis Came home for a visit and Rivers Edge is open. I could not believe what they had done with the old Mrs.T’s. The decor is amazing and they even pay tribute with an old Mrs. T’s jacket on display. Jacquie was our waitress and she was helpful in making sure our dining experience was memorable. The food was delicious and plentiful. Change is hard in small towns but I sure did enjoy it and I am glad the owners took the chance here.

Nicole L. We stopped by for an Italian beef sandwich and it was great! My husband and I both ordered the Bullpen Beef, mine with hot giardiniera and his with mozzarella. The beef was nicely thin cut, piled high and flavorful. I appreciate that the giardiniera had a nice kick of heat. We are looking forward to coming back!

Stacey Prindiville I used to look forward to Taco Tuesdays because of the fried tacos. Something about them was just so good. Now, they have a bigger menu of mac bites, tenderloins, BLTs. I tried the burger and fries today and it was amazing. Very flavorful. I liked the seasoning they used on the fries. This will definitely become our new go to spot for lunch during work. The girls are also very friendly. They are patient even when we call in a big order. Side note: They do accept cards. Google says only CASH, but they have been taking card for a while now.

Ashley Nunya You can tell the owner takes pride in his store. The bathrooms and the store were both very clean and organized! Customer service was great as well!

dallas The owners employ several local young people and work with their school schedules. Everyone there is extremely polite and helpful. They dont have fuels, but otherwise are an excellent place to pick up treats, souvenirs, and items that may have been forgotten for the trip. Not easily handicap accessible.

Talayjah Simmons The food is excellent, I’m a very picky eater and when I tried the chicken wings for the first time I couldn’t stop getting them, it comes with 5-6 pcs of chicken. The sauce is amazing too. I like the fish and in the inside of it, it’s soft and juicy. The restaurant is a place where u can bring your family and friends and it isn’t loud or dirty which makes the atmosphere much better than most. It’s a calm peaceful place you’d want to go eat out at to get away or to try something new.
