Carns Pizza - Pinckneyville

Rating: 4.8 /5
Haley Stanton If you’re an OG Carns Pizza lover like myself-circa late 90’s- you need to order now! The house salad and thin crust pizza are 100% original recipes. The chicken Alfredo pizza is still my personal favorite, and it’s better than before (better chicken now :) My husband and I started dating while working there in high school, and our three kids didn’t get the hype when we talked about it. When Carns Pizza reopened, we ordered all of our favorites. All three kids were impressed and now it’s their usual request on pizza night. If you’re new here, I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Tierra Caliente Restaurant and bar - Woodstock

Rating: 4.6 /5
Tesa Edwards We stopped by after reading reviews on how lovely the service and food is. Reviews are accurate :) My boyfriend and I ordered chips and guacamole (which was so good we devoured it before I remembered to take a photo). We split an order of fajitas (chicken and steak) and the portion was perfect. The meat was a tad dry but nothing that ruined the meal. The service was the best we have had in a very long time. Kudos to this place.

ISHI & Kaori’s Oven - Champaign

Rating: 4.9 /5
Cas Beadell Id been working up the courage to go here for a few months now, as going new olaces alone takes some work for me. I wish I had gone sooner! Hands down the best meal Ive had in a while. The miso soup was phenomenal and the omurice curry was the best bowl of curry Ive ever had. Service was a bit slow, but the staff were so nice and the food was so good that Id return in a heartbeat. Its a very cozy place. 100/10

Ritas Kitchen & Bar - Lacon

Rating: 3.6 /5
Heather McLaren Rita’s is an amazing spot with a cozy, welcoming vibe and delicious food. We ordered the burgers and wings — both were outstanding! The wings were incredibly juicy and flavorful, and the burger was cooked to a perfect medium rare, just how we like it. The service was warm and friendly from start to finish, and we couldn’t get enough of the adorable duck-themed decor — such a charming touch! Can’t wait to come back.

Crystal Lake Brewing - Crystal Lake

Rating: 4.7 /5
Adam Derringer Crystal Lake Brewing is a really friendly brewery. It is a nice open space, not too industrial but still open and has a large patio. They had 15 beers on. Tap for my stop including: lager, low gluten lager, helles lager, Kolsch, red ale, Irish dry stout, west coast IPA, strong hazy pale, wheat, red IPA, hazy IPA, imperial hazy IPA, hefeweizen, cream ale, and nice smooth Baltic porter. All the beers I tried were really nice, the Baltic being my favorite. The music was good and the service was really friendly. I would definitely stop here again.
