Anne Judas 11/1 Back for the great salad bar and a ribeye steak. Not quite as rare as I would like it, but excellent. Love the pea salad. It actually was not on the salad bar this night and my daughter voiced her disappointment. It was overheard by the waitress, and she specifically brought my daughter a serving. That is conscientious service! Went for the first time in years for prime rib. The food and the service were outstanding. This could be my new favorite place in Galesburg to eat. I will definitely return, and soon.

Hiking With Shawn Diver Down has the best burgers in Southern Illinois. I always get a mushroom Swiss burger. its well seasoned and isnt dry. Just writing this review makes me want one now. They have really good fries, too. They have fried mushrooms as big as your fist and the pepperjack triangles are amazing. They always know what we want when we first walk in. Great staff, very clean place, restaurant on one side, bar on the other. Everything I have to say about Diver Down is good. Golconda is one the oldest towns in Illinois and very worth a visit, especially when recreating in the Shawnee National Forest. Go check them out!

Mia When we got in we were seated. We ordered and our food got there in about 15 minutes. The Service and Food were absolutely fantastic. I will definitely be returning.

Douglas Dukeman Very very good food.. Never ever had a bad or discouraging meal. Loved the horseshoe.. Burger and added bacon, onions and tomato and white cheese.. Fish and chips and corned beef and cabbage today.. great service !!! Another great dinner tonight 11/1/22 Amazing pork chop dinner. 04/18/24 the Lasagna soup is by far my favorite and is a must.

BJ Price I do the lunch buffet usually once a month. They will make whatever you ask and its always great food. If something has been sitting out too long they will make whatever fresh.

Arun Subramanian Updated: The food has improved under the new management, with the addition of some new dishes. When I visited yesterday (9/4/24), they were in the middle of renovations, building a bar area and adding more seating. Currently, they’re only offering carryout due to the construction, but they aim to finish and reopen for dining next week. I appreciated that they called to let me know my takeout order was ready, which saved me from waiting. I hope they keep that up. With a new Indian restaurant across town, good customer service is more important than ever.
