Casa Maria Mexican Grill - (Near Belleville, IL)

m j The 4 of us stopped in for something hot after walking around Belleville Christmas extravaganza downtown. My sister and I had the beef vegetable soup our husbands had sandwiches. We loved the soup so much we considered getting some to go but it was such a long drive we were afraid of spilling it in their car. Highly recommend the soup!! We had an wonderful server who had only been there a month we were told in passing. Im sorry I dont remember her name but she was very kind and patient even as busy as it was at the time. My husband said the strawberry ice cream was amazing with big chunks of strawberry. My sister had the pecan pie with ice cream and thought it was very good. I highly recommend you stop in for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Robert Borders I get that everything is wild in the world today. And nothing is cheap. But to sit for 20 minutes for an order. Get fries that look like this (pic attached) and get Jr baconators instead of the baconators ordered is unreal. Then to be talked to the way the drive thru workers do is unreal. "The fries must have fallen to the bottom of the bag" removes all items from bag. No magical fries. Just disappointing. Do better.

Doc H We found this adorable fantastic diner when we came down for the eclipse. We drove 1 hour out of the way to have yet another fabulous breakfast. The food is great. We are gluten free so didnt get toast or pancakes. The omelets and skillets are delicious.

David Jemison This place was so busy, barely anywhere to park or sit. But they got us in, we had the best server ever. Very attentive, knew the menu. We had a party of 8. No mistakes. Food was really good. Next time Im in Springfield Ill be back.

alec berardi First time ive ever been here or even heard of the place. Drove by and it looked old school and cool. Stopped in and service was fast and great! Very friendly. Food was phenomenal! Fries were better than mcdonalds, and burgers remained me of burger king but way better!!! Shake was fantastic!! I’ll definitely be back! Spent $11 for a 1/4 bacon cheeseburger fries and strawberry shake. Great prices for the portions i got.

Val NM While were repairing the Truck, my spouse and I love eating here. The food is really delicious, and this place has the best coffee. Theres a girl from Brazil who works here—she’s amazing! She made me a coffee today... it was unbelievably tasty. I had ordered a vanilla frappe. The place is clean and well-organized, with a great coffeehouse atmosphere. The staff is really nice, too... Sometimes we stop by just for the food and coffee, even when we don’t have any work to do here.
