Courtyard Cafe & Bakery - (Near Pittsfield, IL)

Brian & Nicole Love We stopped in while passing through and don’t typically eat at chain restaurants, but we decided to make an exception - and I’m so glad we did. Although they were busy, the line moved quickly. As we stood reviewing the menu, Jackson went out of his way to suggest a few options and even showed us the extra menu. He was genuinely happy, upbeat, and refreshing to interact with—so rare these days in customer service. I even asked him if he truly enjoyed his job, and he said yes. It showed. So many people could learn from him - what a great young man. We ordered a cup of chili and made it supreme with onions, cheese, and sour cream - delicious. I also had the pot roast sandwich with fries. The pot roast was moist and tender. The mashed potatoes weren’t my favorite, but when I asked to swap them, Madi gladly did so without hesitation - another employee with a great attitude and clear pride in her work. The restaurant was super clean, and there was plenty of parking available. We would definitely stop here again.

Madison Gray ignore the fact that im eating on the couch. fiesta mx is some fire mexican food in downtown ottawa. im a street taco kinda gal and these are good! this time they mighta been a touch over cooked but honestly i slapped some lime on them and its back to business. the salsa is absolutely fire and im happy theres a good spot downtown

Matt Ellinger There is not ONE thing to complain about in any regard to South Side! I have been going to eat here since I was a teenager in 2016, and due to its warm, cozy atmosphere its made me some core-memories in the winter-time year after year! I hope the workers there get to see this review and know its the long-haired kid theyve watched grow up for years; youre my absolute favorite shop to support in town, next to Pensees! :)

Jasmine Davila Its hard not to fall in love with Einsteins and spend all your money there. They have a delicious selection of coffee drinks, bagels, sandwiches, salads, and pastries. I havent had anything from there I didnt like. It is a campus and town favorite.

Steve Sink We’ve enjoyed JJ through the years, at different stores all over the country, and have found they provide consistently excellent, fresh, delicious sandwiches. Our favorites are the Italian Night Club and the Beach Club.

Veronica Alejandra Herrera We discovered this wonderful place by chance two years ago. We were traveling from Georgia and I desperately needed a restroom, so my husband set out to find a gas station, and thats how we found Maxwell House. We had dinner there that same day and fell in love with the food and the delicious pies they sell. So, every time we travel to Illinois, a visit here is a must. Of course, today was no exception, but because of the holiday, the grill was closed. However, they were very kind to us and gave us a delicious chili dinner, which we greatly appreciate, and of course, our strawberry and coconut pies.
