Cruisers Drive Thru - (Near Effingham, IL)

Caitlin K I’ve gone here several times over the years and have had a great experience every time. I’ve sat at both the higher top tables and booth seating, and have tried a variety of their food and drink options. Great portion sizes and the food has always been delicious! However, the place can get a little noisy when packed, but lovely seating selections. This latest visit was a combination of their seasonal Sugar Cookie Martini, the “Sloppy Mess” starter (which consists of pulled pork and fries), followed by the “Tarantula” specialty sushi roll.

Samar A Puerto Rican gem of a restaurant. Classics in a vibrant festive atmosphere. The chicken Jabarito was excellent!!! The steak was a bit tough and less flavorful. Homemade fries and generous portions.

Jason McGuire If you ever find yourself in Illinois Amish Country (or within a couple hours), you have to go to Yoders Kitchen in Arthur, IL. There are too many things to choose from so go for the buffet. Every night there are different items (menu is online) but I waited until tonight so I could get all of my favorite comfort foods: broasted chicken, chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, green beans (all of those are on the buffet every day for lunch and dinner) plus pot roast, turkey and dressing, and spaghetti. They also have a huge salad bar, a couple different soups, and a few different cobblers and treats for dessert. There are fresh baked pies also but those are an extra charge. Everything is made from scratch and definitely tastes like eating a Sunday dinner at Grandmas. Everything was delicious; there wasnt a single item I didnt like.

Brandon Ballard Had a wonderful dinner on the back porch as the sun was setting. It was busy but it service didnt slow. Love the mini cornbread muffins and honey butter. So good. Cheese curds were excellent. And the chicken George was spot on. Highly recommend

Jon Novak Nice spacious dining area with plenty of parking. Staff are friendly and fast. Prices are a little above average but the food is good. Friday fish has 4 pieces and soup included. Bread is served and there is a kids menu too.

April Cook This place was the absolute best. The owner went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, from the food, decorations, timing, and accommodating for our party. The newly finished room was a hit with our guest. The food was and is always amazing. All the staff was accommodating and friendly. I would highly recommend this place for the perfect party and just a great place to stop in and check out the atmosphere if you are on a road trip. Thank you once again for the fun experience!!! We will continue to visit for years to come.
