Dairy Queen - (Near Paris, IL)

Mark Claypool Kind of dirty. Dont like the kiosk order only. Takes more time. Other than the fries, the burgers were basically without taste. Filet of fish was small, like what White Castle sliders used to be. And cost for 2 1/4 pounders, 2 large fries, 2 "large" drinks and fish was $24! McDonalds has really slipped over the last 4 years. We had other choices in the area but went with McDonalds and wish we hadnt. We wont be giving McDonalds many more chances. Sad to see this iconic brand going down the tubes like this.

Jan French Stopped in on the way home from traveling for breakfast. Nice diner style restaurant. Food was good. Staff were all friendly. Definitely a home town feel. Would stop in again if in the area.

Christina Wilburn My husband, son and I went to visit my daughter at college in Charleston, Illinois. We were getting ready to head back to Edwardsville, Illinois and begrudgingly stopped at Steak and Shake in Mattoon, Illinois. I say begrudgingly because since they have changed to pretty much self service, everything has gone downhill in our area. The service is horrible, the places are usually dirty and we just stopped going. When we entered this store, it was busy but the place was cleaner than ever. As soon as someone was leaving someone else was cleaning the table. They were short staffed yet the manager was out dropping food off to people so they didnt have to go and get it. The food was excellent. I do wish you guys had booster seats but he, not a big deal. I was extremely impressed with this restaurant and let the manager know as well. Will definitely be going back when visiting.

Emily Walker Wow! Our first time & we don’t know where we have been!!! My dad got a cheeseburger, I got a patty melt & mom got fried chicken! She LOVED her fried chicken and we loved our choices as well! Fries were super crispy and perfect!!! I wanted to get pics of our food but I guess we were too hungry! They also had live music outside! We will definitely be back!

Lacie Johnson I ordered online and wanted to switch from cash payment to card. The worker i spoke with on the phone, Travis I think, was very helpful and efficient. Then my delivery driver, I hate that I dont have his name, was also GREAT and had even told me he saw my delivery note when every other delivery drivers from other places deliver my food to my neighbor. Great service, and food was delicious and hot!
