5 /5 sassyhipmom: This was my first experience at this main street restaurant. Met a friend around 11:30 a.m. on a Monday and very little traffic with no issues parking. I will say that this is a deli with an elevated experience. Getting your sandwhich staple with a side of local charm and plated art, the prices are higher. If you want to go to a local chain, then do so, but I see this as a place that you are paying for chefs hands on experience & knowledge in giving a gastro experience. I had the tomato soup and half wdege salad, water and I chose a delicious sweet treat (pecan bar) for dessert to the tune of $31 including tip. Weekly visit? Probably not, but definitely once a month.
Everything looked and tasted FANTASTIC!! Kudos on the wedge salad with the most wonderful house ranch dressing Ive ever had. As I usually opt for a vinegarette based salad, this little wedge was packed full of fresh lettuce, crispy bacon (which may be locally sourced) tomatos blue cheese and of course the signature house ranch. The tomato soup was sprinkled with Parmesan and felt like a hug on the wet and gloomy day. Ill let my friend review her own sandwhich, but she was happy to take half of it back to the office and have it for lunch tomorrow. She also devoured the butterscotch pudding as her sweet treat.
Is it worth the stop? Yes. Is it worth the price? EMPHATICALLY YES.
