Fatbacks BBQ - (Near Quincy, IL)

5 /5 Christopher Roan: As always, excellent! The only real true award winning pit master in Quincy, i expect good quality and we were not disappointed. We got the 2+2, Really nice portions of two meats and plenty of sides (mac n chz n tater salad) and it was more than enough food for 3 adults. As a matter of fact, we enjoyed it again the next evening. Thanks Fatbacks, Job Well Done, AGAIN!

3 /5 John Karwoski: Ordered at the counter, got served at the table. Disposable plates and utensils. We’re Texan, so our review may be tainted by regional preference. We ordered the Barbecue Sundae (B) and Barbecue Spaghetti (P). The sundae had a lot of too sweet BBQ sauce and beans for my taste. There were 3-4 slices of brisket and a smattering of finely chopped Cole slaw on top. I don’t know what “dust and drizzle” is supposed to be, but didn’t see any. Will not order again. The Spaghetti had a sweet-spicy sauce we liked better. Was steaming hot. OK, but we also won’t order it again either. We were provided a complimentary macaroni and cheese side. We liked this best. The liquidy cheese had a nice taste. Would order again. Staff were nice and polite. Kudos for that. However the food was overall not our favorite style of barbecue.

1 /5 christian mccolez: 20$ for half a rack of ribs would be a good deal with the ribs were bigger than a new born babies ribs. Its the size of my palm. 4 inches of ribs. The size of a McDonalds cheese burger. I did like this place. Just another stingy restaurant. Edit: cold in the middle, dry and tastes like it came from a microwave. i have no beef with any employee or the restaurant. Im just giving my honest review.

5 /5 Lee Tennison: As someone that travels for work, I try a lot of BBQ. Hands down one of the top 5 I have ever had for overall quality. The sides were great, the pulled pork was great, the brisket was great. Phenomenal job to the owners and workers!

4 /5 Jeanette Korschot: Service was a little slow today, but to their credit, they are swamped with holiday pre-orders right now. We didnt mind the wait. The food was delicious, as always. We had the Memphis Mac, cornbread, and baked beans sandwich. Everything was so good!
