3 /5 Thomas Paukovitz: It was nice. The room and amneties is nice, but for what you are paying for I was expecting superior service and room. Unfortunately that was not our experience. The room specifically we were in was really hot. So hot that we turned off the heat in the room in the middle of January and it still didnt help. When we called asking for some help, they told us the only solution is to open a window... in the middle of winter. Our room never got colder than 77 degrees. Not ideal and didnt feel like the issue was taken seriously.

5 /5 marissa arndt: This is our second time coming back. First time was for our engagement, second time was to celebrate 1 year of engagement. I love this inn the room are amazing, with breath taking views! The only downfall was the room we had we felt we were questioned coming out of it by our soon to find out waitress, this was the first time being disappointed by wait staff at the inn especially during our dinner. The owner came out later Dealt with situation he is amazing takes control of any issue and resolves any issues. The only downfall was our wait staff during dinner. But it was resolved with management. Breakfast is to die for never been disappointed. If you are looking for an amazing gateway I recommend this place we plan on coming back after our wedding in the summer for a mini honeymoon!

5 /5 Randall Niznick: We have been coming to the Goldmoor just about every year over past 10 years for our wedding anniversary. Never disappoints! We prefer the English Cottage but the other cottages are beautiful as well. It is a great escape for us. My job is high stress so this is also my chance to fully decompress and relax. In room breakfast is always delicious!

Our suite was immaculate, beautifully designed, and so comfortable that it instantly felt like a luxurious home away from home. Every detail was thoughtful: the cozy fireplace, the spacious whirlpool tub, the plush bedding, and the little touches that show how much pride the inn takes in making every guest’s experience unforgettable. Breakfast delivered to the room was an absolute dream fresh, delicious, and so beautifully presented. The staff went above and beyond, checking in just enough to make us feel supported without ever interrupting our privacy. Whether you’re coming for a romantic escape, a celebration, or just a peaceful getaway, Goldmoor Inn delivers an experience that stays with you long after you leave. Galena is already charming, but staying here elevates the whole trip into something extraordinary. Highly, highly recommend. ✨ We can’t wait to return.

5 /5 Jason Ellis: Goldmoor Inn is a beautiful property with privacy and comfort at the heart. Service at the Inn is top notch and offers an experience unlike any in the driftless area. Staff are friendly and accommodating and the grounds are beautiful with much to offer. The highlight of the stay was the opportunity to dine at the chefs table. The kitchen is immaculate and the chef and his team run a well oiled ship. We had the elk chops and I have never had a better prepared cut off meat, it was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend a stay at the Goldmoor Inn, the air is most definitely fresh and clean!!!
