Jess Miller Delicious BBQ. Simple but mouth watering delicious. Ive been here a week and eaten here FOUR times. I really also like the Mac and cheese, baked beans, and corn bread. I never have room for dessert, but I hear they are homemade and delicious. Sit outside and enjoy a lovely view of the river while the kids play on the playground. Edit: Dessert varies by the day, today I had peach cobbler and homemade ice cream, and it was soooo good!

La Chuparosa Waukegans Premier Mexican Restaurant - Waukegan

Hailey Payette I’ve been here a few times now and every visit has been amazing. This is a perfect place for celebrations, a girls night out, or to just enjoy great food. The Pork Belly and Taquitos are my favorite appetizers, and the Golden 24k Salad with shrimp is perfect. I have also come for brunch a few times and tried the Menudo (perfect for this winter time) and the 24k Pancakes. The portion sizes reflect the price, I can often take my leftovers home for a second meal. This is a wonderful addition to Lake County, it saves us a trip to Chicago but still brings the same big energy and entertainment you would find there. It is definitely worth a try, even if it’s just to split appetizers and have a pretty drink. :)

Katharine Howard Took our kpop crazy granddaughter and she loved it! Actually, we all liked it. The food was so good. The owner and us were the only ones in the building in mid-afternoon so we got great one on one service. And they were playing Kpop music!!!

Atrium Cafe - Geneva

Rating: 4.3 /5
Angie Johnson What a wonderful experience today with my daughter-in-law and granddaughters. We had afternoon tea in the Atrium part of The Little Travelor in Geneva, Il. The food was good, service excellent and very reasonable! We all enjoyed our first “Afternoon Tea” experience. Victor was our server & he was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this place for lunch/tea with family or friends!

El Mirador En El Rio - Peoria

Rating: 4.8 /5
Jen Benningfield A rare fun find in Peoria. I only knew this place existed off a random TikTok someone posted. I go out to east often & never knew about it! My daughter & I went for lunch on a Monday. Greeted right away and took time with the menu. Ordered the caprese panini and I would get that over and over again. Soo good and filling! We also had a empanada to start that was delicious and great side sauce. The chicken caesar salad had a good taste however it could’ve used twice as much lettuce and a little less chicken. The lettuce mixture is mixed greens, which is thin to begin with, but after many pieces of chicken with every bite of lettuce, we were left with a bowl full of chicken. Some might like that, personally just felt the lettuce portion felt short. Had a beer and a coffee drink. Total $50. We will be back again.
